Hi Guys i have question

i got green card for 10 years through marriage with USC after 2 year we divorced

now i wanna visit to my home country my question is my green card is ok i can go visit my home country and come back easily or immigration can make a issue???

03/20/08 NOA1 for both (765 online - 485

03/23/08 BIO app. letter

04/03/08 BIO done - walk in

11/07/08 EAD Card production ordered

11/10/08 EAD Approval Notice sent

11/13/08 EAD Received !!! :)

11/15/08 EAD touched

12/05/08 AOS ready for interview scheduling

12/07/08 Interview appointment date received

02/03/09 Interview date

02/13/09 green card arrived in mail

You have your 10-year GC, basically scot-free as far as travel abroad.

Only issue USCIS will have is if/when you apply for naturalisation--you will be eligible at 5-years (less 90 days) point.

No... they can leave and return BUT they cannot stay out longer than 12 months or their GC would be revoked and any period over 6 months can be held against them.

You can travel as much as you like, as long as you continue living and working in the US. Unless you are independently wealthy, that would limit the amount and duration of vacations you can afford each year automatically. So don't worry too much, just remember that you live in the US, not in Pakistan.
