My interview if July 5th. A few months ago I registered for DHL and for when they will being bringing me my passport with the visa (as of right now its just being delivered to the location). We had included my parents phone number (I am currently staying there.) the problem is my parents phone will be down for over a month starting in a few days. Is there i way to change the phone number associated with the delivery, or some other way of knowing when it arrives. Is it better just to arrange it to be delivered to the house, if so how do i go about doing that. I just do not want to be unaware that its ready for pickup when i could be heading to US to be with my wife.

i'm pretty sure you can just change your phone number on the CSC website. Go to your account and edit the information. There is a way of having the passport and visa delivered to you and the information can also be found on the same website, but I think it's something you pay for the day of the interview.

You will get an email telling you that it was picked up from the consulate. Once you get that, you can pretty much count on your visa being at the DHL location that you picked the next day. You could call them with the waybill number and ask if it is ready for pick up. Odd that you can't add a phone number on the CSC site...Is your email address there?
