Yup! All done, and not as bad as I thought...well, anytime I go to a doctor is 'bad' for me. My anxiety level just shoots through the roof. They actually had to take my blood pressure twice because the first time it was so high from me being nervous! The second time I was normal though, so it was all good ;)

The people there are really friendly. I showed up at 7:10am after taking the GO Train in and walking in the not so nice rain over to the office. They weren't quite ready to be open yet, so I guess I got in about 7:15am. Took me in right away where a lady took all my info and stuff and I paid. Went and had my chest X-Ray (my first ever, so when I saw it, I freaked a little because you don't know what you're looking at or if it's normal or not....this was all part of the anxiousness I have at doctors too )

Next, went into an exam room where the first lady who opened the doors for me asked me about my height, weight, etc. She then left.

Then the nurse came in. She was VERY nice and made me feel more at ease, which was a relief. She took my BP and pulse. She then told me get undressed, but I could leave my underwear on...I guess it all depends on the nurse you get whether you get completely nekkid or not :D

Dr. Brandon then came in and took my history and record of immunization. Did part of the physical exam and re-took my BP (which was normal now). Then the nurse came back in and (as my fiance would say) felt me up

Got dressed, and had to wait in the waiting room to have my blood taken. Did that, and was ready to go! I was out of there by 8:15am and walking back to Union Station to catch the GO Train back home.

I'm glad to say that all went well and I didn't freak out haha, but I'm glad it's over with too...one less thing to do before the interview!

I also mentioned to the staff there about the reviews that are posted here and how helpful they are. It's so nice to be able to know what the procedures are BEFORE going so there are no surprises, and it helps to calm the nerves of people like me :)
