Do you get text messages for the Bio letter?

10/23/07 NOA I-130, I-765, I-485 dated 10/19

My wife didn't receive any text/email. The biometrics letter just arrived in the mail.

Sorry, just noticed this is N-400.. Probably the same though...

They do send to you a text message as well as an email telling you that your case has been updated, that is only possible if you filled out the G-1145 form. Once you receive that update notification the letter usually arrives within a couple of days. Good luck to you.

AOSers are obviously lower down on the USCIS scale. We get nothing for biometrics, even if subscribed to text/email notification. no0pb.gif

I think it is hit and miss. I filled out the form and did not get a text message.

K-1 journey, AOS/EAD and ROC in my timeline

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

I filled out form G-1145 with my application and the only text / email I got from them was when they first received my N-400 package. Since then, nothing. I have done biometrics and interview and I never got a text from them so I guess it is random.

I also got an text and e-mail when our N-400 was accepted. Than only got an e-mail when they mailed our biometric appointment letter.
