Hi all, again lol,

I was wondering, do I need to add all the documents twice, one lot with the I-765 and another lot with the I-485, such as 2 marriage certificates, 2 copies of my passport with I-94, I know I need to send off 4 passport photos.

Many Thanks

Dave :)

I made copies for all 485, 131, 765 as they all go to different areas once they get to USCIS and I made 6 passport pics 2 for each application.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

I don't remember exactly what we forms we filed and don't have access to it at the moment but I assembled each application as if it were standalone and placed them all (we filed all 3 - AOS/EAD/AP) in one package. But, in reality, they were 3 separate filings that could have stood alone.

IIRC, it was only 1 marriage certificate because that was only required for the I-485, but if the instructions for the I-765 listed something, I included its own copy..

N-400

Feb. 12, 2016 - Sent N-400 to USCIS (3-year rule)

Feb. 19, 2016 - NOA1

Mar. 14, 2016 - Biometrics

June 2, 2016 - Interview - Recommended for Approval

Thanks for the reply, I think I may do that, but I am not doing the I-131 so I only need 4 photos.

Thanks

It doesn't say about the marriage certificate but I may send a certified one just in case. I think I will also send a copy of my I-94 too, I have come this far without a R.F.E. and don't want to start now.

Thanks

Dave :)

One more item I should have mentioned or asked, my wife has her tax returns and she says that she is not going to send the W2'S as she says they should not be needed as all her earning details are on the tax returns we will be sending in the A.O.S. pack.

Is this ok or does she need to get the W2'S

Thanks

Dave :)

If she's sending tax returns, she needs to send copies of the W-2(s). If they are tax transcripts, she does not.

I was going to mention, even if you have no intention of ever using it, why not send in the I-131 for AP? It's only one more (short) form, cost nothing with AOS, and gives a little more peace of mind knowing that, if something should come up and you need to leave, you are covered. I've seen a few cases where a person had to leave unexpectedly without AP and got stuck outside the US, unable to return without going the CR-1 visa route....

Thanks for the reply ryna,

my wife says she has tax transcripts so she won't send the W2's, and after talking to my wife regarding the I-131 we have decided to file that too.

Thanks so much

Dave :)
