HELLO TO EVERYONE

i feel like such a duffus(doooofuuusssss) :lol:

we filed our I485 packet complete with everything except the I-864.

this morning i checked the filing status online and i t showed that an

rfe was sent out yesterday june 21st.

i began racking my brain, what can it be that they want??????

i did a search here on VJ and low and behold there it was in black and white

for I-864 Affidavit of Support. to be honest i never heard of it until this morning.

i dont know how it slipped through my cracks, so to speak.

but anyways i have no one to blame but myself for this slip up.

the good news is i dont have to wait until i recieve the rfe to figure out what they want.

i have already began filing it out and providing all the tax information.

if they need something more, then i am ahead of the game.

moral of this post?????

if you make a duffus mistake while filing............ dont beat yourself up about it

this paperwork ####### aint easy.

Hindsight is 20/20. Just to be sure and not have to send in 2 replies to the RFE I would wait to receive the actual letter from the USCIS and make sure you have everything needed before responding.

RFE was only for the I-864.

mailed it today.
