Good day my friends on Vijay. I haven't visited this site because I am so busy with a kid, and job.

Anyway, I'm now required to obtain a security clearance at the high level. Will having a green card holder wife (soon to be US Citizen) affect my eligibility?

hey its console master!! good to see you brother...tips: don't lie & you got no problems. if you think you may have to 'shade' the truth. from the time you sit down immediately concentrate on remaing calm, concentrate on taking deep steady breaths, don't 'think about' the question...just answer yes or no quickly....xanax if you're looking for extra help w/ the calm thing.

Have done a few. The testing itself can't tell if one is being untruthful so they resort to mind games. Of course as you know the test does note if there are changes the body is undergoing to an extent so just be as relaxed as possible throughout. They will see that you are relaxed throughout and then they will start marking the graph more often to make it appear that they are noting changes. Ignore this. One time they tried to say I was being deceptive on something and I just stayed as calm as I was and didn't rise to the bait and said they must not be very good then as I was being totally honest. This can go on for awhile or be passed over. It is just what the examiners mood is.

Now personally I do not dwell on the machine or the testing but do have several images that I can think about that calm me and do this throughout. Usually imagining my babe smiling at me makes me very calm and feel good is an example. Of course what you can image to make you in a calm state is something for you do figure.

Also be prepared to wait for a long time in the office prior to being brought into the examining room. They do this on purpose to further stress the person. I bring a book to read. One time I was being tested I was very tired from working all night and was in a zombie state. The tester concluded halfway I was non testable and stopped the test and reschedule. I bring this up so you will see how they need the subjects in certain mental states. Fatigue brings one mental and physical down to a state that is hard to get any other reactions except a boring base.

I am sure there are others here that will give more and better tips for you but wanted to say what I have experienced. Good luck.
