Does anyone here deal with the Student Loan Company?

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of filling out forms to the SLC as I currently have no income and am being supported by my husband. The form states that I need to send documentary evidence of income (or lack of in my case), and I was wondering what anybody else has sent that are in my position.

Hey yeah in the same position - all they need to a letter from your hubby saying he supports you financailly and thats valid with them for a year. you'll need to send one every year and inform them if your situation changes i.e. you get a job and you have to sort out transfering the money to them. But the thresholds still apply so I reckon you'd need to be earning $25000+ before they want you to start maing repayments. your hubby is not responsible for you loan or anything like that
