Hello! I am still waiting for my Packet 3 after over 2 weeks. I know it really isn't that much time still, but I'm getting anxious! How long does it take?!

did they send it to you already??... For us it took less than a week to get it in the USA, still have not gotten anything in Mexico.

I meant if the Consulate in Juarez already told u that they mail it to you. If you have not called Juarez u can call and ask if they got ur petition and if the packet 3 has been sent. Otherwise u will just have to wait, should be coming real soon though.

NVC sent our petition to CDJ on 8/8 and I have called the 703 number every day for the past few days and they still have no record of receiving it! I see in the time lines most people hear in less than a week, going on 10 days tomorrow, ugh Is there a way to call directly to the consulate?

Like others here, I never received the Packet 3 in Mexico. My USC fiance received the invitation letter in the mail and the link for Packet 3 was there. For us it took a very short time, however, my fiance is located in El Paso, TX, which is right next to CDJ, so I suspect that has made a lot of difference in the waiting times. Hang in there, it's probably in the mail!

One thing to add: we never received the invoice ID or the Beneficiary ID numbers in the mail from NVC. Even when calling NVC, the first time they didn't give me the Beneficiary ID which delayed setting up the interview (you need the to fill out DS-260, and you need DS-260 to use the ASC appointment system) a couple of days. So if you don't get them in the mail, you can get them by calling NVC with your CDJ case number (which will be on your invitation letter). As far as I know you are only ask to present the invitation letter and the rest of packet 3 and all the forms are online.

Our packet 3 took 2 weeks, we never received it in Mexico. The time varies though, I've seen it take up to two months for some people ..

My packet 3 also took just over 2 weeks to get to Minnesota. Don't worry, it's coming!

I am not yet concerned with pkt 3 arriving but more with the fact CDJ still has not confirmed receipt of our petition ten days sonce NVC sent it :-( How long did it take for them to confirm it for uou all?

I'm waiting for it was well. Our petition left NVC on August 9th. Is it an actual packet or just an invitation letter? Also, can you schedule the interview for anytime or do they give you a timeframe within which it must be scheduled?

Ours was just the invitation letter, we downloaded packet 3 off the CDJ website.

When you schedule your ASC and interview they show you a calendar with available times and you pick, usually as soon as 10-15 days if you so choose. This calender kind of reminded me of the SRE website to schedule an appt. to apply for a Mexican passport.
