Dee07 thank you so much for the reply.I just want to let you know that they transferred my i485 to another office for processing last dec19,then got another update after 2weeks they transferred my i485 to USCIS ofice for processing last jan6.Today is been 2 weeks after it's been transferred.Do you think I have 2 wait another 2 weeks for the schedule for my interview?? How about the ead ,how long it would take?again thank you very much..Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

i have some situation, i got my i485 transfer on december 16th, 0ne week ago i got the I360 aproval in mail, my case was aproved on december 16th, and on january 17th i got the second transfer for I485...your interview it will be soon and you will not need the ead, i applied for ead in october and still pending

Hey guys, hope all is well. Congrats to the new approves.....Anyways, I still didnt receive a new date for my interview. I sent a letter to Uscis since October requesting a new date and location for interview becaz I moved from the state they requested the interview for. Is there anyone ever been in this situation? Should I call them and inquire about my interview? It's been over 3 months.

Do send a letter to renew prima ASAP! I think it really helps. You don't need ur lawyer for that though. Is just as simple as writing " this letter is to request an extension of p...."

Don't freak out, sometimes people focus so much on the abuse that they forget to mention how the relationship began. Just write a detailed statement and send whatever you have.

Finally I got the mail RFE today!!!

with expiration date, they want me to explain my courtship

GOOD FAITH MARRIAGE

with my ex- with more and more details...

they want to know everything....

transactions banking since 2009.

Insurrance with more explanation

Pictures with date location and events.

etc....

Stillalive, good faith RFE is better than getting other types of RFE. I had received the same RFE. I guess we focus too much on the abuse that sometimes we tend to highlight information how we had good intentions of getting into this marriage. Try to send them all the information that they are asking for. Also, send them anything that you think would help establish more facts about a good faith marriage. More relevant information is better here......so send as much good information as possible.

One of the things I did for pictures is, I went to the following website and put captions for each and every picture stating when was it taken and who all were in those pictures.

I send a bunch of pictures with me and my ex when we were dating, with friends, family members, engagement pictures, wedding, honeymoon, after marriage, pictures at different locations....

So from an officer perspective, they can understand where each and every picture was taken and who all are there. It will help you to build your story.

The other thing I can say is take your time to gather as much information as possible. Do not rush to send the RFE back. Focus on quality vs. rushing to send it soon.

I think you might already know these things, but I again I'm just sharing my two cents. I hope this helps. Good luck! Everything will be fine.

My RFE was good faith marriage . Post cards help a lot christmas bdays the whole nine yards if you didn't have joint bank accout write a statement explaing why you own statement is the key. Write and tell them why you don't have certain things they are human don't be affraid and don't rush I took the whole time that they gave me to respond.good luck and try to find it all remember your statement is the key.....

Is it true that when you're married to a LPR it takes longer than a Citizen? or it doesn't matter?

Everyone's timeline varies a lot, I'm trying to figure out how come that happens.

As for life insurance I had to send proof that it was been maintain automatic payment every month. This goes way back to 2006.....if the account is closed get a letter from the bank.

Difference is when you are married to a usc a visa number is availabe and a lpr you might have to wait a while.

Sir Charge, VAWA approval is not based on if you're married to LPR or a US Citizen. All the cases take the same amount of time. Once your VAWA is approved, then your I-485 or green card is based on if you're married to a US Citizen or LPR. If US Citizen, you can get green card immediately. If married to LPR, then the green card will get issued when the priority date gets current. Hope this helps.

Ok, guys they said they have ordered production of my card-i guess i don't have to go for the ADIT processing afterall.This whole thing has been very surprising to me but i give God the ultimate glory & i'm keeping my fingers crossed till i get the notice & the card.

Go ahead Kymber22, go ahead and call & talk to someone who will be able to give u a heads up or make a note that u have not be interviewed b/4 they think u have abandoned ur AOS, u never know with this USCIS.Ur case is long due for an interview,just make sure they have the right city & state to interview u & not the old one.

lol. I was so loco and focused on my case and I forgot

everything good around, just a anger at the time I was

writing my statement, and I just submited a vague information

about my courtship with explanation (picture/bank transaction etc...)
