Ssisi,I just want to let you know that I applied vawa last 2nd week of april, after a month I received an RFE for marriageCertificate.I didn't received any prima facie but got approved last oct.Just hang in there, everything will be ok.I'm still waiting for my schedule of interview.Can't wait for this to be over.I know this is not easy, but we just have to leave it up to God.Keep on praying ,I't helps a lot.For those who just got approved , Congratulations :)

Atleast someone is looking at your case......I think you or your lawyer will get the actual RFE with details about what they are looking for....I think you might get the RFE either end of this week or early next week.....good luck! and let us know if we can be of any help....

Stillalive let not your heart be troubled I also received RFE after 7months I responded last Sep and with the help of God I got approved last Dec. Let's see what's its about and then you try and give them what they're asking for .keep us posted Good luck .....stay strong.

Ok, guys...USCIS will not give me heart attack.They said they have sent me a permanent residence card with a welcome letter.How is this possible?I did not go for any interview, never received EAD or biometrics appointment although they have every info on me 4m yrs back when i first filed-i just make copies & resubmitted everything with a new application, i did not have the vawa approval notice yet,why is my case very different 4m all the stories i've read here?Or is this a new one 4 2012?But the only part i'm happy about is that they sent a permanent residence card....i will wait to see first what comes in the mail before i start jumping for joy.

This is baffling, i've not been able to eat, just restless energy all about.Pls, u all should keep me in ur prayers cos this just might be my miracle.Wow,i only requested for case to be expedited last week & now this, somebody chime in b4 i lose my mind.Has anyone ever be in this type of situation?

Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Ok, i've been reading this letter over and over again,does the ADIT processing cause any delay in receiving the actual green card?I know ADIT processing can either be fingerprinting or passport stamping(since i haven't done any recent biometrics,i assumed this will be required of me) ,i just wanted to know if this is the standard mail sent to everyone when u are approved b/4 the actual card production mail is sent?I'm excited but very nervous,God is definitely shining the light on me this new year.I can't sleep nor concentrate on anythg-this is the only thg in my head right now.Has anybody received similar mail,when did u get your green card after u received this mail.

that is crazyyyyy!!! let us know what happen... how long ago did you apply?? It might be a mistake, for all that i know all vawa applicants go through an interview... but hey, if you get it good fort= you!!!

InPeace, i know but my attorney said USCIS decides who and who not to interview when it comes to AOS,she said every thing is a case by case basis & each case is different. she said u can't predit them.I think my attorney still went for the interview by herself after it was cancelled to make sure everything was alright, i don't know what they did but i got that mail.I guess since i didn't go for the interview, i will have to go for the ADIT processing so i can submit my other documents like the I-94 & get biometrics done on the spot before card production can be ordered.I really don't care if they stamp my passport(probably not, its expired),i just want this to be over so i can move on with my life.

May 24,2011-RFE(For good faith marriage & Good moral character)

Aug 19,2011-I-485 touched(correspondence from USCIS were returned)

Aug 24,2011 & Aug 26,2011-Attorney called USCIS

Sept 12,2011-Another RFE for I-693 & passports sent

Sept 19,2011-RFE for I-693 & Passport received

Oct 18,2011-I-360 touched(status changed to "Response to RFE review)

Oct 21,2011-Prima facie sent

Nov 1,2011-Prima facie recieved(Still no EAD or Biometrics done)

Dec 1,2011-I-485 touched(still no EAD or Biometrics)

Dec 12,2011-1-485 touched(Interview notice sent-worried cause i don't have the vawa approval yet)

Dec 15,2011-called USCIS about my case

Dec 19,2011-Attorney called to cancel interview b/c we are still waiting for Vawa approval notice

Jan 5th,2012-New EAC #s issued for I-765 & I-485 by VSC(Both were sent back to VSC)

Jan 8th,2012-Attorney faxed in Request to expedite my case

Jan 19,2012(I-485 & I-765 touched)

Jan 25,2012(Biometrics letter mailed)

Jan 26,2012(Biometrics letter received by attorney)

Feb 1,2012(Biometrics letter in hand)

Feb 6,2012(EAD card mailed by USCIS)

Feb 8,2012(Biometrics done,I-485 & I-765 touched,EAD delivered by USPS)

U really will not believe i've been calling them almost everyday since i got that interview notice but they kept telling me not every1 get biometrics b/4 interview,some cases require immediate attention than others.So i got tired, they couldn't even confirm the cancelled interview.I guess the local office fixed everything when they received my file.so i'm keeping my fingers crossed & will let everyone know what happens 4m there.
