Thanks VJ family for sharing your experiences and being kind of a support system for people in similar situations. I too was approved last week and I have been celebrating with my family and friends. It has been a long and heart wrenching journey, but I am glad it's almost over. Waiting for my court date to hopefully terminate my removal proceedings and adjust status. For those of you still waiting, stay strong and hang it there because there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Good luck family

Twick

Hi everyone congratulations for all progress ... My question is what are you think about getting a congressional inquiry in my case,. I 797 march 25 2011 one touch 04/08/11 no prima facie .. Went 2 time infopass , 1 service request 3 written letter to VSC inquiring about my case even email VSC but they said inquiry should be in writing and they sent me who person specifically have to send the letter but nothing happens ...help please

sissy,

I'm sorry to said this, but you have to be patience... It does not make sense for you to inquire so much about your case when its only been 7 months... Most vawa cases take around 8months to 2 years to get an approval... Prima facie is not a requirement, a lot of people dont get int and still get approved... try to focus on other things, this is a long process...

Yes I went to my lawyer and they gave me a list of the yes and no questions and said all my answers should be no and that they are not suppose to ask about the abuse that I know and so the attorney will be there to make sure that won't happen along with basic questions name dob stuff like that.
