Hi everyone congratulations for all progress ... My question is what are you think about getting a congressional inquiry in my case,. I 797 march 25 2011 one touch 04/08/11 no prima facie .. Went 2 time infopass , 1 service request 3 written letter to VSC inquiring about my case even email VSC but they said inquiry should be in writing and they sent me who person specifically have to send the letter but nothing happens ...help please

after some homework, I come up with this.

Aliens filing self-petitions who can establish a "prima facie" case are considered "qualified aliens" for the purpose of eligibility for public benefits (Section 501 of the IIRIRA). USCIS reviews each I-360 petition initially to determine whether the alien has addressed each of the eligibility requirements and has provided some supporting evidence. This is called a prima facie determination.

From My experience

that being said Prima facie is a first look not based on the all package

but based on Good Moral Character.

but keep in mind Prima facie is only for public benefits. like I said you can have

your I360wava approved wihtout Prima Facie, if that makes sense!!!!?

just curious. did you receive any RFE from VSC about Good Moral Character???

or what did you send to VSC about GMC???

Sir Charge,yes i sent pics of the abuse with injuries sustained,close up of injury & full pic with injury to show its me.I did not get RFE of abuse but i got RFE for good faith marriage & good moral character after which a prima facie was issued but it took months b/c some correspondence from uscis were returned cos there was a mistype in the mailing address by them.I'm still waiting for approval but i got an interview for next week which they have cancelled till my vawa approval is sent or received but a request for my case to be expedited has been sent in this week and i'm keeping my fingers crossed & waiting.

U just have to believe,be patient & keep trusting in God cos Delay does not mean denial.We will get it @ God's appointed time.
