Sir Charge,

I'm thinking you should get a receipt notice some time next week or the week after that....

Yes and yes they might RFE you for good faith marriage or whatever they think is missing good luck.and welcome to our family.

Thanks both of you.

another question, let's say prima facie is received, what can you do with that? can you apply for employment card?

Prima facie will make you eligible for Government benefits, if you need them. If you need an employment card, you'll have to submit I-485 and I-765 with USCIS. Once you've applied, you will get an appointment for biometrics and once that is completed you will receive an employment authorization card valid for one year. The overall process takes anywhere from 3-4 months.

Do you have a lawyer who is helping you with your case?

Thank you. I am eagerly awaiting both right now.

Thanks! Will do!

yes i sent photos with my i360 mu husband came to my house one day to collect his stuff so me and my duaghter left before he got to the house so he trashed my apartment and ripped my clothes so i took pics out and i went to the cops to make a report but they told me they cant do much cause he didnt do anything physical the only thing i can do is take him to small claims court. so in my affidavit i talked about that and included the pics.

I'm curious everyone,

Is there anyone who submitted photos of the abuse with their package? did they still send you a RFE? what did they ask you for with the RFE?

I just meant if you have a lawyer, then he or she can assist you in filling out your I-485 and I-765 forms and submitting them....:)

Hope, I think it is only for USC and not for LPR. You have to wait for the approval and after that once the priority date is current, you are eligible to file for the greencard. But again, that's my thinking. I would encourage everyone else to chime in........

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Just to add on what hopeful-2011 has written, yes you are eligable to apply for i-360,i-485 and i-765 at the same time if your spouse or ex-spouse is USC even though you only applied for i-360 without form i-485 and i-765 ,you can send those two forms with your i-360 receipt. But if your spouse is LPR you have to wait for i-360 to be approved first. That applies for EAD has to be based on i-485 but you can do it on its own but you will pay for it like $380 the benefit of applying for i-765 tohether with i-485 the fee for i-765 is waivered. All the best.
