Hi Everyone! Happy New Year!

I haven't been on here for a while. Congratulations to all who had their petitions approved, and those you have interview dates.

I applied in August of 2010,

RFE in June or July of 2011,

Responded to RFE on September 6th 2011,

...and I am still waiting and praying for an approval, I have not heard back from them since September of 2011. I am getting very worried. But I know God is still in control.

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. I pray this week, we get the approval we've been waiting for.

Myjay, wow that's a long time since you've send your RFE. Have you followed up with them since September?

I feel like they're going to send me a RFE but I can't imagine for what. I've read a lot of cases on here but only one person had a "smooth" processes. by smooth I mean no delays. Sir Charge, welcome to the forum! Good luck on your VAWA....if you just applied today, the next step is that you will receive a receipt notice from USCIS confirming that they have received your package. After that they will quickly screen your application and determine if you are eligible for a prima facie. If yes, then you will receive a prima facie to your case. If not, then you will receive a RFE. And after that the waiting game begins!!!! Hope this is helpful. God Bless........

hi MYJAY, you will be next, dont worry , you aplied in the some time with me, i sent my RFE on 31 august 2011 , i did not get the approval yet, but my I-485 was transfer to NBC on december 16th 2011, after that no news...be patient

It has been several months I know. My lawyer contacted them last month, but nothing yet.

Wow , it's way past the 60 days .. i hope you hear from them soon. I'm waiting just like you after sending my RFE in early Dec.

hi Ladyg i went to see the att. and i dont blame you one bit for filing on your own he refused to give me copies of my receipt because they dont want me to see how much the pay to uscis for my son, but he did change the bal cause they realize that i am knowledgeable of the whole process so i want to tell everyone that is using an attorney be very careful and good luck to all.

couple dyes ago my lawyer send package of evidence about of 1-360 to Vermont for decision but he forget send some of evidences . can i resend again or leaved it .

because this documents are bills with both name and can show a bout good faith.so dose any body have any idea ?

i am a little worry.!!

lion_lion - I'm assuming that your RFE was on good faith marriage. And if you think the evidence that was forgotten to be send would be critical in establishing the good faith, then maybe you can request your lawyer to submit the documents again with the RFE notice and prima facie as the cover pages. This will help the immigaration officer to tie your existing case with this new evidence.

tank you Hopeful-2011, my RFE not only faith marriage but also request for residence requirement , evidence of battery/ extreme cruelty. so these documents was one of documents , my lawyer said me do not worry we send enough document . by the way your opinion is resend again documents with RFE and Prima and cover tatter.is it right?
