where is my aproval notice? my I-485 was transfer to NBC on dec 16th, still no news

what is next?

Don't worry, Julieta....you will get it soon. Everyone was on vacation and just now resuming work.....you should be getting it in a couple of weeks....

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

juliet mine was transfered first too, then in 3 days i got the approval. i believe you will get yours soon too. Hopefull i was amazed too since i had waited a looong time just to get the RFE in Sep, i was expecting another long wait before approval, but i believe God intervened.

Goodyearr,u can use your expired passport for your interview but since its expired,it will not get stamped after approval if you need a stamp-an unexpired passport is required for the stamp to be issued.I've seen people use expired passport w/o any problem so long as it has ur name, picture & visa/entry stamp-the immigration officer understands.You do need a valid passport to travel out of the country.I use my expired passport for everything right now b/c i have to travel out of state to my consulate to get the new e-passport since the older one have been phased out & that will cost me a lot of money which i don't have at the moment.

Dee congrats on ur interview notice, u all are almost done.I'm still waiting for news from immigration, they said they sent me some notices which i'm still waiting on.Hopefully,i'll get something in the mail next week.

Sept 12,2011-Another RFE for I-693 & passports sent

Thanks Liveurlife good luck with your passport at Merciful your interview notice is right around the corner . I assume bcaz of the holiday they are a little backed up.

I'm in New York. So I was very worried that I would have to wait a while but thank God everything is going smoothly .

Yes, God definitely intervened in your case! Hope he intervenes in our cases as well and gives us our approvals!!!

Hi liveurlife, my passsport will expire mid april I'm just hoping they will schedule my interview before that.I had my bio taken last dec.12 and dec 19 it was transferred to another office.Hopefully, I will receive my ead soon.My passport now had no visa on it, coz when i just got here i lost my passport and needed to get one.Anyway, goodluck to all of us!!! God is good all the time :)

First week of January is almost over......and no approvals this week :bonk::bonk:

I have a question. for those of you that have goten divorced did you file the divorce based on abuse or ireconciliable differences???

In my case.

I have a choice to file my divorce based on abuse or irreconciliable differences

but in the last minute

I made up my mind. Im not a bad person and I dont want to hurt/send anyone in prison

dont get me wrong I dont judge people, its not my job... but my ex- hurt me over and over, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially and I'm afraid to fight back for many reasons.(time, money,etc...) I got all documents to prove it in court... but unfortunately I didn't I filed my divorce based on irreconciliable differences.

I dont know about you guys but thats what I did. but still :crying:

Hi Goodyear I was told it goes to NBC and then to your local office as in my case it seems correct some ppl notice says National Benefit Center as for me and you it only says to another office which almost drove me crazy.
