Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Hopeful/loveme:

First of all u should send a letter requesting extension of prima facie always, I believe that it really helps. I got my approval 54 for days after sending them a request for pf (they changed my status to rfe review, even thou I never received rfe)

In regards to ur license u should renew ur ead and than go to DMV... Good luck!!!

I'm sure 2012 will be full of approvals!!!

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

So my interview letter arrived and guess what? you guys were right...eventhough the email said it gonna be at the national benefit center, the actual letter said it is scheduled for my local office....now i have to wait and see what they will about my customer service call...hopefully they will keep the same date instead of rescheduling because i called customer service...

for those of you who already went to interviews what kind of questions do they ask? i know they are not supposed to ask about the abuse and that they do the yes/no questions that are on the i485 form... anything else?

I need some advice.

I applied for VAWA in Feb 2011

Received prima facie in Feb 2011

EAD received in May 2011 which expires in May 2012

Prima facie expired in August 2011....I never renewed it

Received RFE in Sept 2011

Submitted RFE response in Dec 2011

I got a letter from DMV that my driver's license expires on March 15th, 2012 and I should bring immigration paperwork to get my license renewed. I just have an EAD with expiration date of May 15th, 2012. Should I take that to a local DMV and get my license renewed for 2 months....March 2012 to May 2012?? OR is there any other solution????

yep I agree with Inpeace...

this is my advice...

1- on February 15 2012 I think Its Wed...

apply for EAD(renew)

2- by chance you will receive your EAD before May 2012

3- with your new EAD you can got your new Driver Lisence in 2 weeks.

Yes, I'd send my I-485 and work permit with my I-360. They approved my EAD in May 2011.

What was your RFE about? Mine was about good faith marriage.

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC
