hi everyone

i got transfer notice ...they transfer my file from Vermont TO NBC....but i'm worry because i did not got notice approval, no touch no nothing, just the letter

anyoane had some situation?

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: Your vawa case has been approved actualy what was transeffered was you i-485 so that they can schedule you for an interview with your local USCIS you will receive approval notice in a few days or so.

Guys I got a letter today saying that due to unforeseen circumstances my interview is cancelled.... Omg I'm sooo upset!!!! I can not believe this.... :(

Juliet!!! Yupiiiiiiiiu ur case has been approved!!! I can start celebrating!!! I'm so happy for u!!!!

Impeace the only thing I can think of as at now why they cancelled,did you ever change your address from the time you filed for vawa,remember in the case of Yulisa they re-scheduled her interview 2-3 times if I am not mistaken becuase of the mix-up the address change?

I am out of town and havent had a chance to check the mail. I have a friend thats going to check my mailbox for me tonight. Now I dont know what to do because I called customer service to ask them to reschedule it to a local office based on what I read online, and now my local office is gonna get confused about why I am asking to reschule to a closer place if they did schedule it at the local office... guess I will have to wait and see what they say about the customer service inquiry...maybe they will just keep the appointment for the same day if it is scheduled at the right place. Who knows?

Carlo co I had received the same noticed online,but when I received the actual interview letter in mail it was at my local uscis office in Los Angeles and not missouri lee summit.Have you received the actual interview letter in mail?

hey i recently join this forum and you guys have been so insiprational to me and the wait game with vawa. i filed for vawa 08/25/11 got a prima facie a week later and is waiting for a decision on my case. i have been seeing aprovals lately congratulations to all who have gotten aproved and hopefully me and the others waiting will get some good news soon looking forward to talking to you guys and sharing my journey.

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

Loveme, I can totally understand how you're feeling. I submitted my RFE earlier this month and the waiting period is indeed hard. Especially right now you know that no one would be looking at your case :whistle::whistle:

What are your timelines? When did you apply for a VAWA and then the RFE?

Its so hard waiting on the 60 days that they give after they receive the response to the RFE...im here hoping and praying i get some good news before the 60 days...i see that some people go way over the 60days margin..

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Hi Hopefull and loveme I respond to my RFE back in September and I didn't get a response till Dec when I got the approval thank God I know its hard to wait but everything seems to be going well for VAWA applicants...

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

11/30 VAWA APPROVED!!!! yupiiiiiiiiiiiiii12/04 I360 Touched

12/22 Interview noticed for 01/23/12

12/26 Interview canceled by USCIS

12/31 New interview notice for 01/30/12

01/31/12 Interview and new biometrics done!!!

Wow, Dee....they took almost 4 months after you responded to your RFE....but I'm glad that you got an approval. So I guess the waiting was worth it, right?

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

Yes Hope they received it Sep 13 and I did not get a response until Dec 6 when it was approved and transferred on the same day and yes it was worth the wait dont worry it is coming.

Transfer notice is good my friend. That's an approval!!!! :dance::dance:

And it seems like for you it took around 4-5 months too to get an approval after the RFE was submitted.

i submit my RFE in august, and i still dont have news, just the transfer notice

Julieta, a lot of members had similar situations. Nothing changes online. But you get an approval notice in mail with the details. So keep checking your mailbox my friend....good news are coming soon!!!! :thumbs::thumbs:
