Inpeace, this is what it says on the email they sent me about the interview:

Testing and Interview

On December 23, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for January 26, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Thats why I think they scheduled it for the wrong place. Did your email say the same when you got it?

I got two transfer notices...one that transferred my files from Vermont to NBC for faster processing and then another one that said they transferred to the USCIS local office.

Hi Carla and Inpeace did u guys receive transfer notices u think that's what they want to send instead of interview notice.

Ok I see so what the hell is going on with these ppl. I Also received two transferred notices one says transferred to another office and the most recent received on Dec 15 transferred to USCIS office so I'm hoping for a interview date soon.

hi everyone

i got transfer notice ...they transfer my file from Vermont TO NBC....but i'm worry because i did not got notice approval, no touch no nothing, just the letter

anyoane had some situation?

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

hi Carla. i just got the letter transfer notice, i have some situation, yesterday i got in the mail trasfer notice from Vermont to NBC for speed processing, did u get the approval before the transfer notice, because i didnt and on USCIS web i dont have any update

I did get the approval first. Mine was approved at the end of August and a couple of weeks later it was transferred to NBC and then stayed there for another couple of weeks and then they transferred it to the local office.

However the letter was for the interview in my local office. So don't worry, your interview will be in your local office.

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

11/30 VAWA APPROVED!!!! yupiiiiiiiiiiiiii12/04 I360 Touched

12/22 Interview noticed for 01/23/12

12/26 Interview canceled by USCIS

12/31 New interview notice for 01/30/12

Oh no!!! I thought they scheduled it for the wrong place and called customer service and asked them to reschedule it to my local office..haha...now they are gonna get confused for sure! lol

It is sad, but true....wait for some more time my friend. I'm sure you'll get the rescheduled interview date soon...........

Julieta, congrats.....your case has been approved! All you have to do now is just wait for all the paperwork.....but in the meantime, time for you to celebrate!!!

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

Thats why I think they scheduled it for the wrong place. Did your email say the same when you got it?

Carlo co I had received the same noticed online,but when I received the actual interview letter in mail it was at my local uscis office in Los Angeles and not missouri lee summit.Have you received the actual interview letter in mail?
