reading this makes me feel so at ease, thanks for your kind words and info. I checked about the divorce and it will cost $420 , i wish i had the money to do it now, but it's so difficult when you're not working and can hardly feed yourself. I checked with legal aid but they're only taking cases with restraining order against the spouse. I don't have a restraining order against him. Do you know of any other agencies i could check with that could help me file it and help with the cost? ....... God will see us through...I keep Praying for us all..

its free for those people without income, go at your clerk house and ask, my best friend she had same situation and she did not pay the fee, just $30

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

Dee urs should be in the mail Already!!! I'm not gonna travel now. Can u believe u just got this job opportunity that I have been dreaming off??! Now I have to wait for a holiday... Lol!!! God works in misterious ways!!! He sent me everything at once.... ?????

Loveme, I have not filled for divorce yet.... That's not a requirement for the interview....

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

Hi everyone I guess we all got cought in the holiday rush I'm pretty sure half of the folks in VSC is long gone on vacation .....my wait is so small compare to others I can live with that so I just want to tell you ladies hang in there the best things in life are hard to come by. No news is good news!!!!!!!!!Happy Holidays looking foward to celebrating all your joys.

Dee, I was just thinking about it this morning. I'm sure all VSC employees must be OFF and enjoying this festive season with their near and dear ones. While for those of us who are waiting, we will have to sit here in mystery worrying what's going to happen to my case, while it might be just sitting on someone's desk for the next few days without being touched.....what an irony, no? Although you try your best to convince yourself positively that this is another opportunity from God who has given you a chance to enjoy Christmas and a New Year in the US for now.....!

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

Waiting. I applied in April 11 got prima facie in September and now waiting. You know how it is! Lol
