Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

i respond on 31th august and i am still waiting...hope to have an answer soon

Hi everyone...i just called my lawyer and asked her about filing a i485 and Work permit and she said that because I'm in removal proceedings it's better to wait for my i360 to be approved first. she say if i file the i485 it will go to the immigration court because they have jurisdiction over my AOS because of the removal proceeding issue. Is this so? I really need someone to explain this to me...PLEASE..

there is nothing to explain, your lawyer is right...

If you are in Removal/Deportation proceedings... the IJ have jurisdiction over OI...Its a law things nothing to explain...

after your I360 Vawa got approved. your lawyer will file a Motion to reconsideration or reopeon It depends on the case...

why are you in Removal proceedings for?

why are you in Removal proceedings for?

Husband withdrew his petition to "teach me a lesson" that he was in control of me and i had to take his abusive ways. I guess after he withdrew that's when i went into Removal Proceedings.

ugh..i really need to work, guess i just have to wait then...it's been so long already...but God knows best..I trust in him..

Do you have a lawyer or are you doing it on your own? I know how difficult it is especially when you are not working, it's driving me crazy, i can't sleep. I have to depend on my family for shelter and food (Thank God for them) ..

I got my Prima Facie two weeks after i sent my 1360 in Jan. I got a RFE for good moral in Sept. and i just sent the response in Dec..so now they say wait 60 days to hear from them. I'm waiting and praying.

Do what StillHere said, write to them and inquire about a Prima Facie...i guess maybe you did not satisfy ALL the basic requirements that's why you didn't get a Prima Facie, maybe they're going to send you a RFE instead.
