nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

11/30 VAWA APPROVED!!!! yupiiiiiiiiiiiiii12/04 I360 Touched

Hi Tuckahoe8 I did receieve 2 card production order messages and the last one was we mail you a notice....that mail notice comes with green cards so you should receieve it atleast within 3 days 4 at the most.Even my work permit it said that we mailed you a notice and then when I received that notice my work permit was in it.Congratulation

Impeace where are you ,still celebrating :D ,you should have an interview letter atleast within 3 weeks at the most after your vawa approval and a month for interview after you receive the interview letter.Thats what happend to me and from studying time lines on here it seems like standard.

Go celebrate and if possible, go home and spend the holidays with your family. I am finally at peace, and this year I will have the biggest and best Christmas of all, especially being with my family. Dee, hang in there, don't give up...just be a little more patient. We all have travelled the same road you are on. with patience, faith and prayer we got our approvals.

hopefully this week we will have more approvals...lets pray together for this...good luck for all of us

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

Can someone help me please I want to renew my EAD card I ask my lawyer they said u dont pay USCIS fee only theirs $250 does that mean they filed to have fee wavered or u really dont pay for EAD renewal.

Dee, u don't need to pay... I did it myself, got it in a month... Blessed or ladyg gave me the directions should be on page 20 (I think)

Thanks Inpeace I'm gonna do just that so I need the VAWA receipt and what else photo I know .. Can u please give me a run down thanks for your help.

Inpeace, if your spouse had file I130, I765 and I485 together and you were approved for the EAD, but never withdraw the I485, then your category is c(9). You should not send it to VSC (VSC is for persons who applied I360 concurrently with I485). Follow the direction that I posted above. Use the lockbox assigned to your State. This is a list of the papers I submitted:

I765 application form

Copy of I485 receipt

Copy of current EAD card front and back

Copy of the last mailer that came with the current EAD Card

Copy of I360 receipt or letter stating you application is pending

Cover letter stating the documents you are submitting.

If your I-485 is pending under the c(9) category, and you had previously paid 1010, you will NOT pay the $380 for Renewal.

The renewal is free. This is my 3rd EAD card and I have never paid a fee. Hope this will be helpful!!!
