Yeah I'm doing this on my own even though I have an attorney so they will get the response ....lol I should have paid my self..... Wish I had found this forum b4 I filed......my mail goes there....

you dont talk to USCIS/I360vawa...

you just leave a message about your case(inquire or update status)

and in the next 3 days they will update or send you a mail about your inquire/case without call you back

if that makes sense......

NO, THEY ALWAYS CALL BACK AFTER 48 HR, AFTER YOU LEFT A MESSAGE THEY CALL YOU BACK, IN MY CASE ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

Should I tell my attorney that I'm doing this or just go ahead , I feel as if I'm cheating . But on the other hand if u want something u have to fight for it and I don't think theyre fighting for me....big city attorney I could have done this and not have received the stupid RFE.....

Dee07 , dont be mad because of your attorney, i had 3 attorneys during one year, and they are all the same, i realize that they dont want to push because they dont want to lose the case, you should tell to your attorney that you want to do this, its just my opinion

stay possitive and everything it will be allright, i know is hard , i am in the some shoes, sometimes this wait is make me crazy but thing at something else, try to be busy

thanks for tipping me...

but they call back when you have a attorney/lawyer/representative on file...

that means if your lawyer call them, they will give a call back,but if

there... It is not xx on file, that will be difficult for them to call back...

because "'confidential case ""

just from my experience, but I dont know everything if that makes sense...

we learn everyday...

I received 2 card production order messages and today a 485 approval message:

we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS....

Do you guys get the same message?

Hi Tuckahoe8 I did receieve 2 card production order messages and the last one was we mail you a notice....that mail notice comes with green cards so you should receieve it atleast within 3 days 4 at the most.Even my work permit it said that we mailed you a notice and then when I received that notice my work permit was in it.Congratulation

Impeace where are you ,still celebrating :D ,you should have an interview letter atleast within 3 weeks at the most after your vawa approval and a month for interview after you receive the interview letter.Thats what happend to me and from studying time lines on here it seems like standard.

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

Tuck, bless up, congratulations. It is over, 2014 we will all be citizens of this country, after all our tears, sleepless nights and fears. So happy for you because I was worried for you. Go celebrate and if possible, go home and spend the holidays with your family. I am finally at peace, and this year I will have the biggest and best Christmas of all, especially being with my family. God bless you all my VAWA family.

Dee, hang in there, don't give up...just be a little more patient. We all have travelled the same road you are on. with patience, faith and prayer we got our approvals.
