Either way it will come. We will keep praying and the best will happen. I know it's hard and feel like a punishment after being through a lot. Be patient and keep your self busy and it will be over some day

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

Hey guys, HAPPY THXGIVING.

Just an update on my case,u all remember that i said i never got any letters b/c it was sent to a non existent address(so usps returned everythg), so my attorney requested they resend.Now, i got the PRIMA FACIE letter & i also got a letter saying that the case is now being Processed by NBC although i assumed that it was already b/c most of the letters to my attorney have been coming from NBC.VSC status online is still showing response to RFE review,Still no approval letter yet but like i said, i've claimed that in the SPIRIT a long time ago, just waiting 4 the physical manifestation.God is good, sometimes i wonder "What IF" i had received those initial letters earlier & acted accordingly?Maybe,everything would have been over by now but then there's a reason 4 everything in life cos good things happen to those who wait,persevere & never give up.It's not over until its over.So,4 every1 who's waiting, don't give up...ur miracle is on the way.For reference...i was divorced b/4 i filed & i filed in April 2011.

Inpeace dearie,i still haven't been able to put my timeline so it can show like yours, is there a place in the forum where i can follow a step by step guide?Also, how is your case going?Any news yet, don't lose faith...God who brought u thus far will see you to the very end...

that is a good idea inpeace, i'm praying for us, december it will be good

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

Just a curious fact:

Today as I was viewing my case status in the website I entered the wrong number, (I almost freak out because of the different message that it was showing... finaly I realized it was not mine). Now the message it was also for a vawa case and it said:

We reopened this I360 PETITION FOR AMERASIAN, WIDOWER, OR SPECIAL IMMIGRANT on November 15, 2011, and are now reviewing our earlier decision. We also mailed you a notice describing the next steps in the process. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Our review should be completed within 30 days. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Has anybody seeing anything like this??? they have reopened a case after approval (I'm assuming)... That is crazyyyy :wacko:

oh, it could also be an appeal... hehehhe did not read the whole thing...

This doesnt look good at all,did you share with anyone about your vawa cases? You need to call USCIS as soon as possible.

77 days and counting since I respond to RFE no touch no nothing I'm sorrry that I signed up online for case status caz its only driving me up the wall......I hope santa [uSCIS] has something in his bag for me....lol

I just called USCIS about my Address... and the funny thing is...

I updated the same Address I guess...

Nobody knows about my Vawa case.. whoops!! let me take it back...

only some friends, the closer ones of course...

lets see what happens...she told me I will receive a mail in the next 14 days

and if I dont, I call them back ....

that sucks!! Im confused...
