Hi my new found extended family I wish you all a happy holiday I hope the next time we meet we have some good news to share.....

HAppy Thanksgiving!!! who knows maybe we will have something to be thankfull for next week!!! just wanted to share that my lawyer contacted USCIS last month and USCIS repplied that "the file was assigned to an officer and it was being reviewed". Mylawyer will contact USCIS again because the processing time they gave her does not match the PT on the internet... anyways, this is her third inquiry... not sure if its helping... keep on praying... :innocent:

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

11/30 VAWA APPROVED!!!! yupiiiiiiiiiiiiii12/04 I360 Touched

12/22 Interview noticed for 01/23/12

12/26 Interview canceled by USCIS

12/31 New interview notice for 01/30/12

Good for you mine don't even want to call them.....what am I paying them for they tell me it could take up to a year and a half so I'm just sitting tight I hope I get some news soon they didn't even touch my case since they received my RFE response ......help what's next.....

Hey guys, HAPPY THXGIVING.

Just an update on my case,u all remember that i said i never got any letters b/c it was sent to a non existent address(so usps returned everythg), so my attorney requested they resend.Now, i got the PRIMA FACIE letter & i also got a letter saying that the case is now being Processed by NBC although i assumed that it was already b/c most of the letters to my attorney have been coming from NBC.VSC status online is still showing response to RFE review,Still no approval letter yet but like i said, i've claimed that in the SPIRIT a long time ago, just waiting 4 the physical manifestation.God is good, sometimes i wonder "What IF" i had received those initial letters earlier & acted accordingly?Maybe,everything would have been over by now but then there's a reason 4 everything in life cos good things happen to those who wait,persevere & never give up.It's not over until its over.So,4 every1 who's waiting, don't give up...ur miracle is on the way.For reference...i was divorced b/4 i filed & i filed in April 2011.

Inpeace dearie,i still haven't been able to put my timeline so it can show like yours, is there a place in the forum where i can follow a step by step guide?Also, how is your case going?Any news yet, don't lose faith...God who brought u thus far will see you to the very end...

April 2011-Filed I-360,I-485,I-765(filed few days b/4 divorce was 2yrs which would have made me ineligible)

May 24,2011-RFE(For good faith marriage & Good moral character)

Aug 19,2011-I-485 touched(correspondence from USCIS were returned)

Aug 24,2011 & Aug 26,2011-Attorney called USCIS

Sept 12,2011-Another RFE for I-693 & passports sent

Sept 19,2011-RFE for I-693 & Passport received

Oct 18,2011-I-360 touched(status changed to "Response to RFE review)

Oct 21,2011-Prima facie sent

Nov 1,2011-Prima facie recieved(Still no EAD or Biometrics done)

Dec 1,2011-I-485 touched(still no EAD or Biometrics)

Inpeace, it is unbelieveable that you are approaching a year since your application, there has to be something good on the way for you. like I said, I never got any touch except to receive the approval letter. Keep the faith my dear.

Tuck, any word on your case since your interview? I am concern as to what is going on.

for the rest of my friends waiting on approvals, it is a strange thing with VSC. I got approval in 9 months, some got it in 15/18 months or longer. Don't pay attention to the processing times posted online.

Myjay, how are you? Any word on your application. It has been a long rough one for you, but hang in there!!! Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

But I told him that no one can prove my residency with my wife better than she can. In that case I do plan to get a letter from her although we are enstranged (restraining order). The judge said that I can contact her but she can't contact me at all. My lawyer said that the letter from her won't be good but a letter from her family member will be better. Well, none of her family are willing to help me. They claim loyalty to their sister. In any case I don't know what to do.

Harry66 good to hear from you and i woundered what next step you took after the denial letter .I am glad the lawyer told you to re-apply than appeal.Thats a good move .Everyone that is waiting on there vawa cases lets continue having faith believing,to him that believe all things are possible and finger crossed .The month of november has been slow for vawa I hope december comes with nice things and january will all be smiling together .

So today I'm completing 53 days that the change my status to "RFE response review". Maybe this will be my week!!! Lol! Here is hoping!!! :)

good luck to everypne, today is 88 days since i respond to my RFE, hopefully we gonna have good news in December, maybe they will give us our Santa gifts, many many approvals

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie
