hello for everybody

i know is hard, i applied in august 2010 and i am still waiting, is an nightmare, and is very hard to be possitive.

i applied for my work authorization in july 2011 ( another one) they approved it and sent it on 2 sept 2011, never get it, i called uscis , surprise , they sent it on wrong address, they told me that they will send another one but they sent it on the wrong address second time too.. after that i caled again and they told me they told me to apply again for replacement.

i applied online again, i had fingerprints done on 28 october , they just sent me an email that they transfer my case to another office and i guess they sent it to vermont. i have to months allready and i cant drive, i am crying every day.

no rfe touch allready still in pending from 31 august, when they received it.

I would not be afraid to call... This is their job! To have a decision on a timely manner! (damn it! They are doing a bad job!!) I know we don't have any rights per se.... But still there is a timeline that they must follow, therefore we can call and complain....

Hey Guys .....

was just wondering if a vawa applicant always has to divorce their abusive spouses .Or whether continuiling being married may affect there green card process or in the final process of obtain citizenship here is what I found .To my understand is that whether still married or not ,it doesnt affect the application of greencard or citizenship(Naturalization) please correct me if Iam wrong English not my first language.Below if the article.

Any person who obtained status as a lawful permanent resident by reason of the approval

of an I-360 based on being a spouse of a United States citizen who battered the applicant or

subjected the applicant to extreme cruelty or pursuant to INA 240A(b)(2)(A)(i)(I) is excused the

requirement of residing together with the citizen spouse. The ongoing validity or the termination

of the marriage to the U.S. citizen will not be determinative of eligibility under Section 319(a) of

a battered spouse or child. Once the applicant has established that he or she was properly

granted status as a lawful permanent resident based on an approved I-360 or pursuant to INA

240A(b)(2)(A)(i)(I), length or continuity of cohabitation with the United States citizen spouse is

not an issue in determining the applicant’s eligibility for naturalization. Also it is not required
