It has been 17 years for me Kwala. I don't know what is happening to me. Yesterday (11/4/11):I got a text from vermont saying my I-360 is denied I don't know if it is the NOID or not.I assure you they sent it after My one and final RFE. I just want to end this suffering. I have not received the denial decision notice mail as yet. I tell you tho my whole day was ruined by that. I am sure you can help me brother. I do need direction on what to do to set myself free from this bondage. I just want to be ahead so that when I get the letter I can tell you guys what they denied me on and we can go from there.

harry66 like ladyg said do not panic or get worked up because you will sure need the strength to fight the battle ahead. I believe kymber22 did get NOID, and did reapply and finally received approval a few weeks ago.If it is a NOId or denial please do not file an appeal. Very rare an appeal changes the decision. You will need to re-apply immediately. send as much evidence as possible. your statement is the most crucial piece of evidence. it must not be contradicting but rather consistent and truthful to the best that you can remember. This forum is a family, and we will be around to support encourage you and everyone else who is waiting for approval. I got you in my prayers...pray changes things...

Hi Julieta27 I think Harry66 was responding to Kwala who it took 7 years to have approval and finally green card.As for Harry66 he isnt sure yet if the email they send him is for DENIAL or NOID .He is asking for help

Harry66 wait for the letter please dont panic you need that strength if you have to move forward and fight this battle.When the letter come if its denial re-apply and if possible enclude much evidence as you can and if possible check and re-write your testmony.Anyone that is applying for vawa please make sure that your testmony tarry with your evidence. Sometimes people write good testimony then red flag is that the evidence doesnt tarry with the testmony.Wishing you all the best harry66 and strong.

Thanks a lot... You mean the evidence must be written in the testimony as well. I have police report, Car title in our names, Lease, Bank account, approved I-130, report from psychologist, Even an audio with her admitting she hit me and cussing me out;restraining order not just the provisional one but the one from the judge meaning she came to court. All the allegation where in the order if they are not true she will contest. She did not because it was true.

I even sent her criminal record and the two times I bailed her out for hitting other people. There was also a neighbor downstairs who wrote on my behalf. I also sent the police record when she will hit me and someone calls police. Our best man wrote on my behalf too. I was unable to get her family write anything because they are notorious. I did not want to risk it. She had problems with the landlord too and we went to court. I was defending the family as the landlord won't fix things. I sent the judgement on that to show that we lived together if not why would I be in court with the landlord. I don't know what is going on. I did everything to the T.

welcome to the forum and congrats!!! when was your vawa approved? just so we can keep track of uscis timeline....

The approval letter was dated October 26th. I had already filed the i485 and i130 so i guess i'm waiting for a interview date.

Harry66, ur evidence should be written if possible notorized by those who witnessed the abuse & must tally with ur self affidavit of the abuse written by u.Disparity in the evidence & self affidavit of the abuse can result in denial.Do u have a pending I-485 since u said u have an approved 1-130?What is ur status with that?Do u have pictures of any injuries?Have u had any problems in the past with immigration or with the Law all these 17yrs?Have u been married to this same person all these 17yrs & she refused to file ur AOS?Do u have kids all these years-that can prove a good faith marriage?Are u still married to the same person or divorced?Vawa can be denied for a lot of reasons but most especially its mostly due to disparity in ur declaration & evidence or criminal background which can cast a doubt on ur moral character.Did they send u RFE, what where u asked to send in?If ur letter is NOID,it means u have not yet sent in something & if they don't receive that,u'll be denied.If u r being denied, the best bet is 4 u to refile & make sure ur evidence tally with ur self declaration.Goodluck.

I'm still waiting for my approval but both NBC & VSC say they are waiting for the RFE although VSC says response review to RFE & i guess that's for the d I-693 & passports they asked me to send in.I think every vawa case is different & unique in its own way.My guess is when NBC receives that,VSC will send me something.Since i filed this April,i haven't received nothing EAD or fingerprint but at least i'm hopeful that my AOS and vawa are being processed.So,i've claimed my approval a long time ago after i heard 4m NBC & God has been so good.He's been keeping me strong & focused thru it all.

Hello everyone ... I have a question maybe u guys can help me.. I filed my case I do not have a police report o restriction order to prove the abuse... I had a report from the emergency room, chest pain .. letter from the doctor I have been on antidepressant since 2008 .. Letter from the women in distress therapy I have been 31 individual section ... do I need psychological evaluation?

yes that will help alot you need a counseller after visting a couple times he will write one for you

I had my fingerprints done with the earlier 485 when i got my ead. Yes I got a receipt number for the 485. If you filed a 485 you should have a receipt number.
