Thanks.

I think it is normal that they send you a biometric as ladyg explained.

What i would suggest is that you go to your biometrics office, around 2 or 3pm. Instead of waiting for the scheduled date. This will make the process faster. I did walk-up biometrics before and all they asked for was the letter and ID. My scheduled date was a month away and they allowed me...........

Murid, Thanks.

I did the biometrics at my local ASC this morning. They allowed me. Best of luck on your interview.

My interview went well. I arrived at the office at 8:45am and the line was about quarter mile long (very long). Finally at 9:40 I pass through security and the officer was waiting for me. We went in the office, I took oath, he asked my address, passport, birth certificate, Employment authorization card, pay stub, divorce papers which I did not have at the time but I gave him a receipt of my divorce filing and he said that was ok with him. He asked me the yes/no question, then how I met my ex, then he looked at my file. He asked about my Previous status and previous application.

Finally he said everything looks good but I need to make copies of the documents u gave me and consult my boss for approval. He escort me to the waiting room, I waited for like 15 mins and he came back and said I approved your case and here is your approval letter you should receive your card within 30 days. I said thank you and he asked do you have plans to travel I reply may be may be not then he said let me stamp your passport just in case. So he gave me a 90 days stamp on my passport.

Overall everything went smooth and I am very much relieved now.

I could not thank you guys, I refer to people here as my VJ family. I am wishing everyone the best of luck and will always always keep you in my prayers. Will also keep an eye on the forum.......

Thanks everyone

Congrats! I am still waiting after the interview. I got lucky with linking my old 485 but it's frustrating I don't know whether I am approved or not approved after being interviewed. IO told me they will reach a decision sooner than 60 days.

Murid2010, I am so happy for you...I almost cry. CONGRATULATIONS. This VJ forum is a like a great family. I know how you are feeling    . The pain is all behind us now. 2014 all being well we will be proud US Citizens. Give God thanks and celebrate. I may be going home for the Christmas. It's been a long time.

Inpeace, tuck, and the rest of my vj family I have you all in my prayers.

Yusila, what is happening with your interview??

Tuck, you will be approved after your biometrics. I am very positive about that. they need an updated fingerprint/FBI check. Please go to the support office, do a walk-in. they will allow you. It will speed up your I485 approval. Let us know how it goes.

Ladyg, murid2010, let us stay on this forum and encourage our friends who are still waiting for approval. ONE LOVE!!!
