Yeah Ladyg, i paid for the adjustment of status(I-485) which included the I-765(for EAD) & the Vawa was free.I'll call their office tomorrow to let them know i'll be stopping by to pick up the receipts.The only reason i used them was that they specialize in Vawa cases mostly and have good rep so far.

Lucymiss i've heard about 102 & 103 divorce, can't remember how to differentiate either one anymore,Google search should be ur friend on this one-it'll give u an idea.I think its based on the state u r currently residing in.Its a no fault uncontested divorce with or w/o kids,it depends on whether or not u have lived apart 4m ur spouse 4 @ least 6mnths or so, not quite sure but i think u must live continuosly apart for @ least 6mnths b/4 ur divorce will be granted.The divorce must be completed within 2yrs of service of original petition.I live in TX & it was just basic asking & answering of questions by lawyer who then served my ex,filing the petition, 60days to think about ur decision b/4 the final decree b/4 a judge.Goodluck with ur divorce

I called USCIS today to inquire in the mysterious "rfe response review" on my online status. I also asked about my case being five months out of processing time. he said that he could not put a "service request" for me now because the status is saying that USCIS has 60 days to answer. So for those of you with case pending out of processing times maybe is worth giving USCIS a call to inquire about your case. The officer was very nice and I waited no more than 2 min on the line... good luck!!

Hope everyone is fine. Just want to share how my interview went by today. Appointment was 7;15am was there by 6.30am .A Japanese man is his 60s called my name at 7.30am ,my boys and I went in his office where he greeted us and made a comment that I have good looking kids ,that made me relaxed as I was so nervous. He made us swear to tell the truth, and then he took 3 folders one for each one of us. He apologized that he will take long as he had a lot of papers to go through. He didn’t ask me for any documents apart from the medicals i-693 and he asked if my husband and I live on the same address which I said no as we are separated. That was it he asked my kids if they like school and what they want to be when they grow up, most question where about my country and all. The he excused himself, left the office came back after 3 minutes with a stamp that he stamped on the papers in our files I could see APPROVE almost jumped from my chair. Then he typed us the approval and welcome letter ,He said he will order our cards before the day ends. Everyone one waiting for approval and interview I am wishing you all the best and take all documents just in case you are asked. Thank you all for your love and encouragement, below is my full time line.

JANUARY 3rd 2011: filled vawa I-360,I-765,I-485

JANUARY 8th 20111:NOA for I-360.I-485 AND I-765 returned didnt send money for it,didnt know i was to pay(lol)

JANUARY 27th 1st 2011: RFE for I-360.....letter of good conduct

JANUARY 29 2011: sent back I-485 and I-765 this time with check enclosed.

FEBUARY 3 rd 2011:sent RFE

FEBUARY 8th 2011:process resume on i-360

MARCH 15th 2011: RFE on I-765 passport photos

MARCH 21st 2011: sent RFE on I-765

JUNE 23rd 2011:I-765 touched and approved

JUNE 27th 2011:I-765 card production

JUNE 30th 2011:EAD sent in mail.

JULY 5th 2011: EAD in mail sad thing have to return in,error on card made by uscis.

JULY 8th 2011:EAD sent back to vermont

AUGUST 16th 2011:I-485 transfered to national benefits center still no touch on I-360

AUGUST 20th 2011: Surprise mail from uscis VAWA was actually approved on AUGUST THE 16TH thank you Jesus !

SEPTEMBER 9 2011: Recive email and text that letter of interview sent and interview date 10.12.2011

OCTOBER 11 2011: Just a day before interview recieved my EAD which I had returned to be corrected it had an error.

OCTOBER 12 2011: INTERVIEW/APPROVED and WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES LETTER IN HAND.

THANK YOU LORD YOU HAVE BEEN MY STRENGTH ,GUILDE ,TRUTH,LOVE ABOVE ALL MY GOD THANK YOU JESUS!

U'll not believe this,all correspondence from uscis to my attorney were returned back to uscis b/c uscis mistakenly typed in 1 # which made the delivery address non existent & as such all correspondence were returned.The devil is a liar.I'm so nervous,shaky,exhausted & tired.I can't even eat.I don't know if i've been approved-i seem not to have any letters to reference and no website updates for my case,my attorney tried to get info on my VAWA approval but they said they will mail back all the previous mail but so far all we got was a letter 4m NBC RFE for passports & Medical I-693.Why is my case in NBC instead of VSC?They sent out letters in Aug & Sept, to the wrong address.They sent out another one this oct for d I-693 & Passports to send the info in in 87days.I'll get this done next week.Can someone pls, tell me what stage i'm in & why is my form already in NBC.

From what I seen in the forum when your i485 is transferred to NBC, is because your vawa was approved. So take a deep breath and calm down... Answer to the RFE when they arrive and wait for the approval! Best of luck!

@ Murid thank you @ liveurlife I think your vawa has been approved thats what happend to me ,my i485 was transferred to NBC and then 5 days later I received a vawa approval letter @ Impeace keep the faith yours will be here soon.I noticed I applied a month after yours and I am sure your case is being looked into.

Thank u inpeace & ladyg,i tot so too.I'm a lil calm now.I already got the letter.Will get the medical done next fri so that everythg can be submitted the following week.I guess they took pity on my case.My AOS have been going on since 2003.I just thank God for everything.

Hey Lady G, Congrats......I'm so happy for you.....I got my interview date but my lawyer is going to change it because the interview is in a different state from where I live.....I'm alittle upset becaz I'm not sure how long it's going to take for me to get another interview date. Hello everyone, I hope everybody is doing ok. Congras to those who got approved lately. It has been a long time. I was going back and forth with uscis about my case. Those of you who don't kno me, my vawa case got approved back in June and removal terminated back in august. For some reason I never got any interview notice since the judge terminate my case so I took an info to find out what was going on that was back in the middle of sept. . At the infopass,i was told that my case is seating at the record room. The lady told me that normal when the judge terminate ur case thy send it to record room, i said what? But long story short thy told me not to worry about it that I'm going to receive an interview in 2 wks, that was like around the begin of sept.. 2 wks passed nothing, took another infopass.guess what I was told thy sent my case back to lee summit supposedly cuz the case was adjucated already, I told Them i never received no interview no green card nothing. I was told to wait for another 2 weeks. for them to order my case bck, they finally got it back sept.26. Weird thing thy sent me fingerprint notice that had my old i-485 receipt number, not the one file with the vawa, and also my lawyer told me yesterday about the interview notice for oct.27 @ 8AM. My question is why did thy send me fingerprint for my old case that was already denied? Any response will b welcome. Good luck to everyone
