I applied on August 2010 and receive my RFE on July 2011 and approved last week.

Wow Transporter!! That is crazy!! I dont understand why they take so long to send a RFE... Best of luck to you!!

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

As I posted in my last message, I received an RFE recently on good faith marriage. Based on the recommendations that I've received from most of you, I'll send the relevant paperwork. Thank you!

I had also send a few pictures in my original application and was wondering of sending more pictures. Can you please advice what is the best way to compile and label pictures? How did most of you send pictures with your application?

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

Yup, i waited that long. While I'm waiting for my approval all i did is to focus on taking care of my health, imo that saves me from going insane:wacko:

anyone on this forum going through divoce, me and my ex need to go to court for a divoce, anyone could tell me how much it will cost to get a divorce, my ex is disable now ,he can;t pay anyfees ,i am the one will pay all of them,thanks

Friends, I just want to share the good news with all of you. I just received email that they ordered production of my green card. I am sooooooooooo happy. :dance: :dance: :dance: I thank God for all my blessings. Friends, my best advise to everyone, never, ever give up. Keep praying and let your story be your strength and your motivation. You will all get your approvals, so you can put this ruff patch behind and move on with your life...I am planning on doing just that. Hello everyone,

I'm new here but have been lurking around 4 a while & in the same boat as everyone.I filed I-360 in April,2011 & received RFE in May for Good Faith Marriage & Police clearance,Submitted both in July.Up til now, i haven't heard nothing.My attorney said she's waiting for an approval notice when i 1st spoke to her, then she called and said she inquired from them and that i should be expecting a biometrics appointment letter soon instead-she said it will take a week to a few weeks.Is this normal,do u get biometrics appointment before I-360 approval or is my attorney holding the letter b/c i still owe her some money?I'm tired of the wait.I never knew about vawa,i would have filed a long time ago before my divorce.I only found out after i was divorced but happy it was b4 the 2yr divorce limit.

April 2009-Divorced

April 2011-Filed I-360,I-485,I-765(filed few days b/4 divorce was 2yrs which would have made me ineligible)

May 24,2011-RFE(For good faith marriage & Good moral character)

Aug 19,2011-I-485 touched(correspondence from USCIS were returned)

Aug 24,2011 & Aug 26,2011-Attorney called USCIS

Sept 12,2011-Another RFE for I-693 & passports sent

Sept 19,2011-RFE for I-693 & Passport received

Oct 18,2011-I-360 touched(status changed to "Response to RFE review)

Oct 21,2011-Prima facie sent

Nov 1,2011-Prima facie recieved(Still no EAD or Biometrics done)

Dec 1,2011-I-485 touched(still no EAD or Biometrics)

Guys something weird happened! Today uscis sent me a email updating my case to "response to request of evidence". However I never received a RFE!! I sent my letter Monday, so that is what they received... I'm so confused!!! But happy my case was finally touched... Whatever happens at least I will know soon...

well i have a friend and she got approved first and then got the appintment she told to me it was very easy take 10 minutes
