hi love me brother, thanks for the message, i think it is too late for me to find any attorney, two weeks ago I wrote my email to my NBC supervisor to ask for help,so far no any reply,I guess waiting is my only choice, be good brother, take care in Florida. After Obama win his re-election, we will all get what we deserved as a good moral person.

My only main concern is : "proof of good faith marriage".

We have been together almost 2 years before marriage.

She refused to file or open any account under our names.

The only thing is joint bank account so she can spend my money,

The only thing I have Is 200 photos of us since the first day from different occasion.

vawa food stamp you can get without problem, but cash assistance they are not providing lately. People that get cash assistance usually they have kids.

I have heard that its better to not to get any kind of assistance because that goes against and delay your case...is that true?

has anyone here ever applied for food stamp and cash assistant and got approved with Prima Facie?

Every state is different with wat the give with prima facie your best bet is to go to your welfare office to find out.

Thank God we are talking about same thing ... Sandra please or other visa journey member can you guys please answer question like ...

1- where can I go and apply for Medicaid, food stamp?

Is welfare office, social service office, children and family office(FL) where ?

2- Does the fact that we are getting public Benefit Medicaid, food stamp, cash assistant ) would affect the permanent resident application?

I read here and online as well that getting public benefit wold not affect because they understand the situation the vawa applicant go through..

Please somebody that have applied for public benefit get them and get the permanent resident.. Please we need to clarify the public benefit thing ...

Ssisi who applied for vawa can get medicaid, food stamp without any problem. It wouldn't affect the resident application at all, it's the law.The prima facie is issued to get public benefits. In determining inadmissibility USCIS defines “public charge”as an individual who is likely to become “primarily dependent on the government, but Vawa filers are not considered public charge if they use public benefits ok. There is an exception to the public charge for battered individuals.

You can apply for medicaid and food stamp with Florida Department of Children and Families.

Did you apply to receive $1.500 for relocation? Most of the states give $1.500 to cover expenses due the violence/relocations etc..I think in Florida who pays the $1.500 is the Salvation Army. Two girls from VJ got already the money in Florida.I will ask them.

To add to Sandranj thorough but basic instruction: it's not enough to go and "find out". If you walk out without proof that you have applied for ALL benefits on such a date, and you were assigned a PA case number - you'll cheat yourself out of money. How so? You see, any verbal answer you may authoritatively obtain as to NOT eligible - you can fight in Fair Hearing. I won all (100%) of all Fair Hearings I ever filed, and even received more than 100% of denied benefits retroactively. But you absolutely must be entered into the system and not leave their offices without a printout. Talk (theirs) is cheap; if you're mistreated - you need to equip yourself with proof, and assert your rights

Do u have to have a Prima Facie first to file for relocation compensate?

I had to borrow my friend's money for taxi to move out. I'm that broke.

The sad thing Is the father in law followed us all the way to my new place even I told him not to come
