Additional information: I have been here all my life went to school here 1st grade- 12th ..graduated.. I've won 2 scholarships because of my art .. Gotten awards for my art. Married 2 yrs ago. The only thing bad is that I have a DUI and I have vilolated probation. But if I continue to volunteer n help out could that be used to show good moral charachter.. Please help me!! My lawyer said she doesn't know if she will be able to represent me because of the contract she was prepresenting me and my wife and now she can't attack her even though I was the only who paid for everything .

I have an approved i130 I'm seperated fom my spouse have documents of 2 times I went to the hospital for deep cuts and hit in the groin and eye and it caused corneal abrasion .. I have pictures of the cuts and eye. And emails where she is asking for money And telling me she controls me abd she owns me. I'm scared to go to the police because she said she can get me reported and make hell for me .. And she said she has the upper hand because she's a citizen n a girl. I'm currently in removal proceeding got out of immigration last month I've heard people wait months and months for a court date. Can I file vawa i360 while I wait for court date? Or should I just wait for cancellation of removal under vawa ? I know I have both options .. I've also gotten a DUI but I've volunteered and the shelter and library n going to continue .. Will that work in my favor?

Y are u in removal is it because your wife didn't go through with the i485. If you have the evidence like wat you say you have you can file i360. How are you gonna get cancellation of removal based on vawa if you have not file i360 and gotten an approval. You must get an approval for the judge to cancel removal. That's as far as I know. I suggest you get an attorney if you are in removal the judge will recommend you get one even give you a list of free lawyers. My friend is in removal and she fills me in abt the process.

I violated my probation because my wife called the police and told them I was drinking cuss I wanted to leave the house because of the way she treated me she called the police they came asked me if Im on probation n I said yes they took me in because she told them I was drinking.. I went ahead and did my time to be done with probation and then when I was done ice took me to broward c center immigration jail.. I talked to the deporter he asked for my high school diploma and my lawyer faxed it and then they let me go under release. Already went to apear for my first appt with immigration. Now just waiting for court date.. I heard it could take months. My wife didn't continue with the i130 she needed to fax her A O Support. And she didn't so it's still pending since July 2011 .. But she hasn't withdrawn it .. I guess she doesn't know you can do that ..she must think as long as she doesn't go with me to immigration it will be dropped. Tomm I'm going to a a clinic to get counsling I suffer from depression and anxiety panic attacks I can't sleep or eat i feel so empty..

I thought about the same thing also. I guess he might get some relief but the sad thing about the dream act is you don't get a green card. Just a work permit for two yrs.

I think they watch you and after the two years if you work, pay your taxes and do not get into any trouble they give you permanency . I MAY BE WRONG

Im on my 5th pf I do have a lawyer and in regards to Defered action the only thing that sucks is that you dont have to have any bad record and DUI disqualifies you thats what USCIS says.

I don't think you get a green card just renewal but I personally think after some time congress will give them green cards. But there is no where that's says they wil. Get green card even you pay taxes etc.

You might have a chance. Nothing is guaranteed you never know with vsc..

I sent my I-360 to VSC 16 days ago..the confirmation said its delivered via USPS

But I haven't received the notice of action yet.

Should I be worried?

I'm so worried my wife just attacked me the other day as we speak I have scratches on my face and arm and back and side of my stomach.. I didn't call the police because my wife has a baby and I didn't want the baby to go in the system since his dad wants nothing to do with him and my wife's family too.. I want to go to the court house and get an order of protection cuss she's staying and my moms house and she won't leave .. She said she has to stay .. I left cuss of the abuse but now I don't know what to do help me!!

Czrr finish reading this post and GO TO THE POLICE STATION and file a police report.NOW!, then get a restraining order against her. Go to the hospital TODAY.It will help a lot your case, If the hospital put in the report you have scratches will be great.If you decide not to follow my advise believe me your chance to have your Vawa approved is not good.Get some proof of the violence TODAY!
