Oh! Did u apply for a new i485 or did u link your old one? I already bought my ticket to my country for December... Lol this thing needs to be approved and fast!!

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

I had applied for VAWA in Feb of this year. I know inpeace you've applied before me...so your case provides us with a good timeline....please keep us posted...and good luck with everything!

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

renew my Driver license and get $4.00

for renew no need perima ... just preview license , notice of i-485, or i-756 and fill up form application and pay money. that 's it

inpeace, can you let us know if and when you renew your prima facie and what is the final outcome? I haven't renewed mine too as I'm not utilizing any public benefits. But if it helps our case, then I'll follow your steps and will do it.

Hi Impeace all you need is to write a letter to VSC with your Alien number on ,full names as they appear on your i-360 petition and the receipt number of i 360 ask for an extension of prima facie in the same letter you can ask about your case also thats what I did .I mentioned in mine when I had to renew that I wanted to know about my i 360 petition that it had exceeded the 5 months stated for processing time.I mentioned that I had called there customer service number and that they couldnt tell me anything on the phone as i 360(vawa) is considered a sensitive matter .

Hello everyone , it's been a long since I last posted something in the forum. Well I applied in DEC 10 for I360-I485 and EAD. Got biometrics done in FEB 2011 and EAD was approved in MARCH 2011 , no updates after this until AUGUST 8/26/2011 that my I485 was sent to National Benefit Center .... I haven't received no RFE so far.

Is this good? From what I read here I guess I should be happy but I am so nervous and scared. Why would they sent the I485 to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER?

I applied one month after inpeace . Well I am prying for good news for everyone.

Congratulations Anxious your approval letter for vawa is on the way ,i had my i 485 transferred last month august a week before yours ,5 days later recieved my approval and now interview coming next month october.

Thank you so much for your support. For security reasons my mail is sent to my attorney's office. I haven't gotten any news from my attorney so far and it's been 11 days since I saw the update!! My attorney always calls me to let me know what's going on with my case, like when my second prima facie was accepted and when my EAD arrived to the office , so right now I am sooooooooo anxious as to why I have no news from my attorney yet!!!!

And don't worry I will keep you all updated, good or bad , I will let you all know what's going on. I am a nervous wreck right now :S but I will wait for my attorney to call me until 9/15 if not I will call to the office myself to find out. I will keep you all informed. I wish good news for all of us and soon!!!

OMG, am reading this and can't help but notice that am in the exact same boat, 8/19/2011 my i485 case was transfered and i was soooo confused, 9/7/2011 I got the letter of approval for the VAWA :) But my attorney is on leave for 2 months and i also recieve mails there for security reasons. As much as am confident her associates will let me know if any updates come through, am nervous that i might be called for the interview and miss it if they dont check my mails in time. I wanna try and keep calling to remind them to check the mail but I dont know how long it takes to get an interview... Does Anyone know how long it takes after the approval to get an interview?
