Just, received a response from VSC regarding my case status. They are processing cases on or before May 7th 2011.

Wowwww that's crazy but am really starting to think that's based on the earliest date of the last case worked on by an adjudicator . For e.g if there was 50 cases for June and there is 10 adjucators then. Am thinking each is gonna get 5 cases. Some adjucators might get cases that don't need RFE's and the cases get approved while some cases need RFE's and will need to be placed hold so that means some adjucators will obviously be done with their 5 cases faster for the month of June before others and would move on to the following months so hence the reason some people in July/august/ etc are being approved before people who applied in let's say may/June etc. because there are people here who got approved for August and December of 2011 and didn't expedite.

Just a thought I might be total wrongggg, hopefully I explained "my idea" lol of how things might just be working at vsc but at the end of the day we will NEVER know.

Good luck everyone, put your trust in God things will work

MyJourney why you didn't ask your parents to send your birth certificate? it's a simple thing to obtain. Regarding the passport you can explain to USCIS they kept the passport when you were detained, but your birth certificate you could ask any relative to get for you. It's mandatory to show these documents to the adjudicator. If he/she is completely insane or drunk in the interview he/she can get through your case without asking the original.Good luck

MyJourney it depends the humor or which side of the bed the adjudicator slept,lol...we can't predict how they will react, but for God sake ASK tomorrow for someone to get the birth certificate for you, and in the worst case scenario you tell the adjudicator that you asked the birth certificate and probably in 7 days you will have the original birth certificate, and he may wait tho. You don't have with you the most important documents(birth certificate and passport), how can he give you a green card without knowing and having ORIGINAL proof that you are the the person that filed the papers?

Exactly why would uscis give you a prima facie to receive public benefits then deny your case because you receiving it makes absolutely no sense.

My journey seems like a never ending one.

July 5 2011 receive prima facie

August file i 485, g28 and all the relevant forms needed in this case

Still waiting for a approval for i360. This has definitely become exhausted. By the end of it all i'll be smiling. Thanks be to God it will soon be on its way

Maybe if she/he has driver license or state ID or maybe EAD can proof who person is.

On other note. I apply for I-360, I-485 in April 2011 and now my health is getting VERY VERY bad. So my attorney and my doctor are going to ask for expedite case (also I'm in removal presiding what have been on pause, never had to go to the court but have to go to report to ICE on 09/11/2012). What do you think how fast will be if they expedite my case?

I'm not attorney and this is not legal advice, this is just my personal opinion!

Hi Everyone,

Oh gosh today 09/10 I got a text on my phone with change of status. They are asking for RFE for my vawa. I applied for my vawa on 05/25/2011 and just today I received a change. I am very nervous. I did not send the police certificate clearance...I am hoping this is ALL they are asking. Can someone tell me the possibilities? I sent letters of people, psychological letters from doctors and

maryhoney 87 why you didn't provide the police certificate when you were waiting your case to be adjudicated? ...well probably they are asking the police certificate, despite they use to do that before issuing the prima facie.

Here is my advice to everyone WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE I-360 you must send the police certificate from USA and the police certificate from your home Country as well, if you are living in the USA more than 3 years.

Sandra!

When I found out that...I told my lawyer, she said dont worry if they need it they will ask for it its not a big deal. I am so tired of these lawyers! I wanted to send it after we sent the I360 because I found out AFTER but she never told me before! She should have known that it is a requirement! I am so mad now! should i start getting it done now? and which police certificates do I need?? I have been here since July 2010. I have lived in New Jersey, aND CT.

Thanks!
