12 months for me..this is just so annoying I think I am gonna contact my state/congress person I think we as a people need to start taking a stand if we flock them with letters hopefully something will happen than just sitting here while the ppl at vsc does nothing to overcome the workload. Vsc has only done two weeks of work since last September according to the processing time which I know is not reliable.

Good luck everyone

Most people wait between 14 - 16 months. I waited 14months !! i know it is tough

Any suggestions what we can do as a group. One person going to his/her congressman in one state probably will not have an effect.

Hi lorphelpme, I already contact Washington state governor Chris Gregoire, who kindly refered me to two Washington state senators . But I still wait for 20 months now, that is not an option, the only option is after VSC help Obama win his re-election, they will have spare time to do our cases.

It is tough guys. Do not be fooled by the processing times. As much as I hate to be a wet blanket, they are still working on April/may 2011 filers. TRUST ME! They sent out RFEs to April and May 2011 filers between July and August and approved some of those month filers. They will adjudicate the RFEs before going on to other months. It will all work out guys. Take heart.

loveme for those that submitted the I-485 along with I-360 I saw many cases the AOS were adjudicated after 60 days of the Vawa approval and I saw several cases they wait five/six months as well.It depends of each local service center.

Hi Sandranj my friend just realize she sent the letter to expedite to vsc but didn't write on the envelope attn vawa unit, she said she did write it on the letter itself. She wants to know if that would be a problem and if so wat should she do. Thanks

lorphelpme well there is a chance they won't get her letter tho.USCIS is messy, lol. They always ask when sending a letter to write down VAWA UNIT.She can submit another letter and mention that she submitted a letter before but didn't specified VAWA UNIT.

I just sent a huge packet to the VAWA group supervisor regarding my ex-wife's fraudulent VAWA claim. A family member wrote an affidavit and it was almost completely false and inflammatory. If she gets a green card on almost completely false pretenses it will be a huge injustice to all. Infopass for my side in 2 weeks.

Hi PALMBEACH: you are too fast, which made us so so jealous, anyway, good luck for your future life in the state, hope more people got approved at thunder speed as PALMBEACH did.

Hi Verysadguy: I understand your feeling as a man, but please forgive what your wife did to you in Jesus name, in English we called "Making love, not War", at least your wife tried to join in our big US family by going the legal way, not like those illegal immigratants who worked in the state without even paying taxes.

Thanks optimisticchic, I total agree with what you said, I got my Notice of Action letter from VSC on July 14th, you are write, they are processing cases around April 2011, hope I got approved soon, then I can go Florida to see Love me, ssis.

by the way, I am not the secret agent from VSC, although WSP said my citizenship is US. :innocent: I hope so though. But I hope real VSC staff can see this blog and giving us a VAWA free relief.
