resignedtoinswhim FOIA you can file with USCIS,ICE AND CBP, but as I sad it takes a few months.

Thanks, SandraNJ. Also to Sweetcheeksss for sharing the information. This is still useful...better than nothing. Esp for the cases where LPR abuser naturalizes in the future.

I COMPLETELY disagree with murid2010 advice, if some USCIS adjudicator screw up a form I-485 before and asked the individual to file an new one it doesn't mean that people needs to start filing form I-485 when they still have a pending I-485. Don't file a form I-485 if you have a pending one you can cause a mess/delay in your case.

myjay talk with you lawyer how about if he emails USCIS and say that he is willing to file a writ of mandamus because your case is taking forever,I bet USCIS will run with your case.I did several times. Writ of Mandamus is a judicial remedy, when USCIS is taking FOREVER to adjudicate one case (more than 18 months) we ask an order from the federal court to obligate the USCIS to adjudicate a petition in a timely manner. As I said DO NOT email USCIS saying you are willing to file a lawsuit if your case is less than 18 months.D on't worry they won't get mad at you because you are saying you are considering to file a writ of mandamus, but they don't want to deal with a lawsuit because some employee is sitting with your case there and usually they run to adjudicate.

Guys

I have a question if we dont get the renewal on the prima facie can we get a federal loan for school with the I485 pending or no? I was accepted at my masters program but they want a copy of my renewed prima facie...is there any other way of getting the loan? Should I send the acceptance letter to USCIS to show them my urgency?

Thanks,

Mariane

Prima facial expired -june 2012

Sent leter to request renew of prima facial -june 2012

PALMBEACH, if you need your prima facie tell your attorney to send them an email.

Its always easier and faster that way.

Sandranj quick question

It will be a yr waiting for an approval in a week. Haven't gotten an RFE, I know not everyone gets one do you suggest I ask my attorney to contact vsc to check up on my case or just wait it out. I sent a letter with copy of my prima facie to renew it for my third one end of July and haven't gotten a renewed one yet it's been three weeks

I personally don't see checking up hurting anything wat do u suggest?

Hi love me, thanks brother, i am still keep breathing, hope i can go back Seattle next month and see you in Florida someday, I have never been to Florida, but I have been to Texas Austin and Dallas, people always said in Texas everything is big, at night I can count stars in the sky, wow, that is beautiful! also it is always sunshine in Texas, but in Seattle, it is always raining, that is why Washington state is called evergreen state, but if you go to mountain Rainer, one of its most famous tourist place is called paradise, christmas trees are everywhere there, together with snow mountain, falling spring and all kinds of beautiful flowers, the view is fantastic!

Hopeful 2011, you will be fine, people said VAWA interview is the most easy one, maybe only take 10 minutes. I never have a chance to go for this kind of interview, but i check the other people's blogs, they all said immigration officers would treat you well, maybe they suggest you go divorce with your abused partner after you get your greencard. Just as Memes said, your vawa chapter will soon turn over, at least we heard some good news from VSC,congratulation!
