My attorney passed away 2 days ago and i was just informed. this is so sad for me. it's like everything around me is fading away and dying. i don't know how i will handle things so any input will be greatly appreciated. but while waiting please sendout a prayer along with me so that his soul rests in peace.

Thank you Loveme,

he was a private working alone with a secretary. and his secretary called me to come pick up my files next week, so i could continue with another attorney of my choice. she has no clue what to do. so i'll be pretty much on my own out there. how do i remove an attorney G28 form, so the uscis can rather communicate with me?

lloydgc if you are going to represent yourself then send a NOTARIZED letter to the USCIS communicating that your lawyer passed away and stating that you will represent yourself. Ask his secretary which newspaper published his obituary and then send a copy to the USCIS as well.

Godisalive, All the best and enjoy your new life in the state, Mayjay, next month is my 18 months waiting for my VAWA approved or three years and two months marriage with my USC wife, in other words,i have been kicked out of the state for 18 months already.

we are in different time zones, when i read you guys post, you are already in bed, just treat my words as sleep talking. :-) all you guys need to know is one heart is still waiting to come back home outside of the state, although i asked help from my state senators two months ago, still no approved news. I waited for my I-131 travel document since March 5th 2012, no approved VAWA and I -131 travel documents, only my 11 letters to VSC and lots of emails. I have no idea what is this all about.

next week will be 4th july, i cannot go to Seattle gasworker park to see the fireworks with my wife and my best friends in Seattle, but i still want to say God bless American, hope God can bless me go back Seattle too if that is not too much work for him. hope God bless everyone in this website get their greencards. Obviously they are waiting way too long for their greencards.

hi myjay, I left Seattle on Feb 4th 2011 and came back my parent's house in Auckland, on Jan 5th 2011 I received my removing letter from NBC director who said I have to leave Seattle in one month time, because my documents is incomplete, I have to go back home to get my notary birth certificate. After I mailed my birth certificate to NBC,they sent my I-485/ I-130 to VSC on March 28th 2011, then waiting is start and never ending.

VSC sent my RFE to my former address in Seattle on Sep 7th 2011, I never received it, although I told them my new address by mail on April 18th 2011, I have to reply them by following you guys RFE questions. I totally wrote 11 letters to VSC, two for their supervisor who did grant me I-131 fee waiver (I paid $360 for it on July 2011). I also asked help from Washington state governor who is very nice and refered my to Washington state senators, but still no result on my VAWA case.

My wife is drug addicted, who told me she is now working until 2 am in the bar, I told VSC my wife need go to rehab asap, at the begining i thought my case is supposed to be urgent, but now it goes to more slower than others. maybe i am too outspoken, i told NBC and VSC staff, who care about my wife's life more, me or US government? i regret I said that, which must make them mad. only god knows when is the end of this journey.

have a nice independence day in the state for all you guys!

young journey I am just curious about your case, I didn't follow your case since the beginning, but you said " I though my case supposed to be urgent", my question is why do you think your case supposed to be urgent? i didn't get it. All people who sent the form I-360 were battered and all cases will be treated in the same way.As far I understood you are the victim, then USCIS do not care about your wife (the U.S. Citizen) , they will adjudicate your case considering you were battered, they won't give a damn about her.If she was the perpetrator she may face criminal consequences, but USCIS doesn't have anything to do with her.
