Just recieved my vawa approval today in the mail actually yulisa was right it was approved august 16th when my i-485 was transfered to national benefits center ,I cried and was so emotional that my kids started crying hard to stop because they were wondering what was wrong with me ,I am sure yours too has been approved iam trying to find out how to put a timeline of my process.Wishing everying all the best and you in my prayers ,i understand and feel you pain been there too.

Inpeace, if you did send the I756 application to Chicago Lockbox, you will have your card in 30 days or less. My receipt did take 14days too: Here is my timeline for EAD:

June 1, 2011 - Applied for I765

June 14, 2011 - Receipt received (NOA)

June 15, 2011 - Biometrics notice for July 5, 2011

June 28, 2011 - Received e-mail, card production

June 29, 2011 - Received e-mail, I765 approved

July 5, 2011 - Biometrics done

July 8, 2011 - Card Received in the mail

July 12, 2011 - Received I765 approval letter.

My card was sent in the mail on 6/28/11 even before I did the biometrics. Please don't be alarm by them taking 15 days, some times they do alot of actions all at once.

Blessed: Before filing a new 485, which I am ready to do, I need to make an inquiry for my old 485 first as per Yulisa's comments.

I will have an infopass appointment next Thursday. I will ask the status of my old I-485 and if that will be processed using 360 as the basis.

Did your approval say "You will be notified separately when a decision is reached on your pending adjustment of status application"?

Murid: Could share your infopass experience? I have never been to one, so any suggestions help.

Tuck, yes, my approval notice did say I will be notified separately when a decision is reach on my pending I485...I hope you will hear something good at the infopass. Good luck, God go with you.

Thanks guys!!! For anyone waiting for an answer from USCIS, my paperwork was received by them on Nov 29, 2010 so if you sent yours around that time you should be getting an answer pretty soon too!!!!

nov 04 Went to interview by myself, told officer will aplly for vawa

11/04 I485 touched (still on initial review)

11/21 officer called lawyer about the I485 (btw: really nice IO)

12/10 apply for VAWA, without background check

12/11 lawyer drop off a copy of I360 for the IO

12/15 Prima faice received

12/18 sent background check, also sent a letter to IO asking to expedite the I485 to vermont to be linked with I360

12/31 I360 touched

08/04 Apply for EAD renew

08/18 receive NOA

08/26 new card ordered

08/31 new card ordered (again??)

09/01 notice of approval of I765... (where is my VAWA approval??? God help me...)

09/03 EAD arrived in the mail!! ufa!

10/03 Sent letter to renew prima facie and inquire about vawa status.

10/05 I360 touched- changed to "Request for evidence review" (WTH????)

11/27 Recieved prima facie extension

11/30 VAWA APPROVED!!!! yupiiiiiiiiiiiiii12/04 I360 Touched

12/22 Interview noticed for 01/23/12

12/26 Interview canceled by USCIS

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

Carlo CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR APPROVAL.THIS VAWA PART 2 HAS COME WITH SO MANY BLESSINGS AND MY PRAYERS GO TO THOSE THAT ARE STILL WAITNG FOR THEIR APPROVAL PEACE TO EVERYONE.
