Hi everyone let me tell you what happened today.. My case filed 03/25/11 notice of recived I 797 nothing else ...after many many inquiries today I check my status online n my status has change Request for Evidence (RFE) after a 1 year and 1 month .. can Somebody tell me how long I have to wait for the letter on the mail? Honestly Really wanna see what they need... help please

Ohh noo I cant imagine how you feel...There is no way to know until the letter arrives to you. You will soon get it I believe in one or 2 weeks. I am sure it will be fine...I just cant believe they By the way how did you ask for inquires on your case??? Because they dont give u info by phone or email...

It took me about 4 days to get my RFE ...from the day I got the email/touched/

My Lawyer had to call the court herself before they finally sent off my file to VSC, if she didn't call I'd still be waiting for the Court's clerk to do their job ! Ask your Lawyer to contact the Court and see whats up

I Doubt you gonna get EAD without an VAWA approval since the Courts still got jurisdiction over your case, well atleast thats what my lawyer told me

now without EAD, no money, no job, I360 still pending, court case without lawyer.

I prayed to God to overcome my EAD situation...

Guess what!!?? I woke up the morning and I received an email for VSC

tell me. "On May x, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

BTW, Congrats im happy for u ... life is hard enough trying to go through this vawa process but i know now that ur EAD card is approved it should relieve some of your stress !

about RFE (EAD) they asked me to send a copy of my driver License

and my passport... and I did reply it the same day via Usps Express.

you know it!!!so far Im ok and ready to find a job...

glad to know God is listening to you and good things are and will be coming for us all,.. just hang in, i'm sure ur approval is on its way..

something curious though for my case,.. i'm just so tired,. it's bad enough that i have to suffer all type of abuse, but even the little things are pulling the life out of me,.. so my ex evil wife not only showed me the definition of cruelty but she went as far as frauding to obtain the divorce in my back. she pretty much filed for divorce, redirected the mail to some of her friend address and signed all the paperworks forging my signature. that's how she obtained the divorce,..

i filed my vawa case 3 weeks ago and so far i haven't received any receipt. i'm starting to wonder if this is something normal? anyone experienced such a delay before? now getting a noa is more like passing an exam,.. really weird this usciss tho.. btw i asked my lawyer n he keep asking me to wait...

stressing!!!

yeah i read the form instructions, but what exactly did u send to them

the hospital Im going to since September 2010

for my treatment, granted me a benefit on one of their program

based on my situation (abuse program and no job) so everything

for me was and is free for me in that hospital.

so I sent to VSC some documents and no statement to proof Im

elegible under...a means tested benefit

1- a copy of my approval from the hospital with signature

2- a copies of letters of appointment from my Doctor office

3- a copies of receipts from the pharmacy (hospital)

4- a copies of visits from the hospital with different nurses

I received 2 receipts (i485&Ead) after 3 weeks with fee waived

and asc app later on with fee waived too....

thanks God for helping me.

Im sorry to hear you have not yet received your NOA...

but I guess its on the way cause it takes up to 4 weeks to

VSC to send you a receipt.and up to 2 weeks to Usps to deliver

your letter...Im sure you got to receive it next week...

by the way I hope you dont have any issues with your address or any thing

on that way...

but the good thing is you got a lawyer in your file...

you will be alright.

I got a RFE for good moral as well ... I sent them a police record from where i am in the USA and also from my home country because i am here in the USA less than 3yrs. I also had my Pastor write a letter of my character and moral conduct and also i sent them a copy of my school record. i also included a little personal affidavit telling them about myself and that i have never been involve in any criminal activity (wrong doing) ... Wish u all the best, just send them as much as you can, so they will be convince about your good character.. yes a police clearance letter is a good start. Keep us posted !

Hi everyone loveme thanks for your replay .. I am getting a local police clearance from the city that I live now and from the one I use to live before to complete three 3 years.. Called then now they say it cost 9 dollars n get it in less then an 1 hour ..

Do u guys think I should send something else.. Letter from friends, personal affidavit , .. Please help

I feel so strange as I got my Prima Facie without submitting my good moral certificate. However i still applied one just in case. Do you guys think I should still mail it?

There will probably be RFE for me in the future. However since I hired a laywer, the notice will be sent to his place. My laywer is great but I am afraid he is too busy, may neglect something in detail. So in that case how can I get notice from USCIS directly? For example if my laywer failed to inform me about the RFE, how can I get to know it by myself? I know there is a registration system on USCIS, but will they inform you the detailed progress?

I also applied my EAD card two weeks after 485 filed. Biometrics has already done, but right now no news from my EAD card. What's the standard waiting period for EAD?

Usually what's the main reason for a Prima Facie case still be denied in the future? Sorry I am just too anxious...
