First Congrats Kwala! Wish you all the best.

Second, I need to go to an infopass appointment next week to check the status of my old 485: Where is it? Has VSC forwarded my files to NBC? I will bring the 360 approval and other docs with me. For those of you who have been to infopass, could you advice me what docs to bring and how to talk to the IO? Thank you.

ts been 7 to 8 months now since i file for i-360 based on vawa .I have not had a touch on my i-360 since I sent the RFE for letter of good conduct, that was in febuary this year 2011.I also filed for i-485 and i-765.I was approved for work permit but had to send it back because USCIS made a typo error on my card. Its been 5 weeks and havent heard anything about my EAD.Yesterday recieved a text that my i-485 was being transfered to national benefits center, has anyone had a touch on their i-485 before vawa approval? why did vermont service center send my i-485 to national benefits center.Anyone who has had this happen to them i need your help thank you.

Hello inpeace

Thank you for replying and for lighting up my face with hope. Its been a long journey and the idea of knowing that i will be free is too much to bear.I applied january 3 rd of 2011.I did all paper work without lawyer as the lawyer wanted so much money.I came on a k1 visa with my 2 kids who came on a k2 visa you can imagine how much they lawyer wanted.I will put my timeline once everything is resolved and will keep you posted. The only RFE was letter of good conduct which i submitted in febuary since then no touch expect yesterday for i-485 transfered to national benefits center.Seems like we applied around the same time.
