Hi everyone let me tell u what happens now..a few weeks ago I called a congressman office to ask for help in my case( I 360 pending since march 25,2011 not even prima facie) they told me USCIS would contact me soon( USCIS sent me a letter saying that my was been reviewed for final decision on march 26 2012) a few days ago call a congressman and they told me that USCIS sent me RFE on march 28. I check mailbox every single day, online and my account to see touch and Nothing... ??

Wait for your RFE, it seems most people get atleast one ... then after that, your approval should be on its way

well It depends on the case and how your lawyer handle that..

but keep in mind you got to file first the I485 with USCIS and the Judge will review...

but that is not your case...

in your case like you said your lawyer already file for Motion to TRP..

that means... It will take between 3weeks to 3months to the judge to overcome /close the case

and allow you to continue your case with USCIS...

you are in the right way and your lawyer is doing the good job.

why I say that cause you got your master in august 2012 and I guess you will get

your individuel hearing may be in juin 2013. that means you will receive your GC

in 2013 but your lawyer is doing the perfect job that will allow you to receive your

GC asap...

3 WEEKS TO 3MONTHS .. i want to cry but i prefer to laugh ... next week makes a month, i'll contact my Lawyer if i dnt hear from her next week ... keeping my fingers cross, cause i can't wait 3 months, cause i need to file my i485 n EAD

Ughhh even I'm feeling anxious. My anxiety is acting up again I just want this to be over and have stability in my life and move on.

Call me cynical but I truly believe they posted that in error, specially with reauthorization still pending and VAWA as we know it in limbo in congress.

Only thing you can do is wait.

sidenote, I found myself being dangerously depressed taking risks on stuff I normally wouldn't and being completely apathetic about life. Not just about the abuse that took place but just with everything. It's to a point where thinking about my death actually cheers me up. like "hey, I'm going to die anyway..." I don't know, I'm just rambling on speaking my life anonymously on the internet. the only thing keeping me going right now is the thought of my younger brother being without his closest blood relative. otherwise, i doubt anyone would even notice if i died.

anyway, didn't mean to use vj as a journal.

I know how u feel Sir Charge, I've been there, and sometimes I'm still there ... its not easy at all and i know when its all over we can only become stronger individuals. keep a smile on your face, don't let the devil win. you are God's child and God is still able ... use this as your testimony, you'll overcome this ... in the mean time occupy yourself with positive people n things ... keep faith my friend, it's not over until the fat lady sings, so don't give up we are all here for u

Ssisi10 set up asap an appointment with infopass to get a copy of your RFE.I saw hundred of cases USCIS sent the RFE and the individual didn't receive at all.

Sandranj do u think if I get infopass appointment they can get a copy of the RFE ? I am working on it..that did not occur to me..honesty think is a good idea..

I think getting infopass is a good idea. Although VAWA cases are extremely sensitive, so I'm not sure if they will give you a copy of your RFE. But atleast they can put it in the system that you haven't received your RFE and were following up. It might also not hurt to send a letter or ask your lawyer to send a letter to VSC. Good luck!

Sir Charge,

This is the right forum to talk and express your true feelings. All of us have gone through similar situations and honestly have felt exactly the same things that you are currently feeling.

But trust us...it will all be fine. The waiting journey is hard....an uphill battle, but the destination is worthwhile. And once you've received your approval, you will feel like re-living again. But in the meantime, keep yourself engaged with positive people and activities. Maybe join a gym....take a running program, do some yoga....all of it will help!

What I did yesterday I sent a letter by fedex where I explain that the congressman office told me about RFE n did not received anything .. I let congressman office know that I do not have RFE ..that I check my status online, my account for touch and mailbox every single day personally and not info about any RFE until now.. just desperate now

That's good that you sent them a letter. I'd also send them a letter regarding my case and they are pretty good about looking at your letter and replying. So I'm hoping that you sending the letter directly to VSC would help.

Pretty random, you all don't know me, but I've been following this thread (previous VAWA and this one) for a few months now, and some news I just found out made me get the courage to actually create an account just so I could post this! I'm soo excited!

since January,06,2012, i have no any decision,

After i send respond RFE 1360 i got 3th perima , validate for 60 days.

1- 14 April my frima expired 2 week before that expiration i send letter for renew my perima , but i have no any respond.

2- i request for renew EAD Card 2 mouth ago.

3- last week my lawyer sent a email to hot line Vermont and asked about my perima (4th) and asked We have not yet been provided with a response from USCIS on this case.

4- hotline respond and said :

" The information you submitted in response to the Request for Evidence was received and has been included in the file for review. I have sent a request to our clerical department to have the prima facie determination extension notice sent."

during time my request EAD approved and my card receive in my mail but i have not receive any perima.

to day, i am confuse cause i receive a Appointment letter from DHS-ICE for fingerprint.

this letter is from old local office in old state that i lived ( i moved form one state to other state before) .

i had interview with 2 office of "ICE" before (last year) cause my x wife went to ICE and request to us immigration customs enforcement.

by the way i have question and basically and simply

1- i should be worry ?

2- is this fingerprint for denied or approval ? no any body know or have more info?

3- can i request for change location of fingerprint to my state i am m living?
