I have a quick question. When you get the interview notice for your I-485, does the status of your case change on the USCIS website? Or you just get the interview notice in mail?

Please let me know. Thanks!

Feb 18th 2011 - filed I360, I485 and I765

Feb 21st - receipt notice received

Feb 27th - prima facie received

March 18th - letter for biometrics appointment for April 15th

April 15th - biometrics appointment done

May 15th - EAD approved

May 20th - received EAD card

Sept 23rd - RFE received

Dec 14th - RFE response send

Feb 17th 2012 - filed for EAD renewal

Feb 23rd - received an email from USCIS: I360 APPROVED!!!

Feb 23rd - transferred my case to NBC

Feb 24th - receipt notice for EAD renewal

March 7th - RFE issued for EAD

March 13th - RFE response send

March 29th - EAD renewal approved

April 10th - received EAD card

to those waiting hang in there you have to have a lot of patient and youre not even a doctor.

how long did you wait for the green card after your interview? i want to go home right away

i got the letter in mail...uscis website its still at initial review....nothing changed

august 2010 - filed I-360, I-485, I-765

september 2010 - received prima facie

september 2010 -received work authorization without fingerprints

june 2011 - renewal prima facie

june 2011 - got RFE in the mail

july 2011 - applied for renewal I-765

august 2011 - sent respond to RFE

september 2011 - I765 approval never got it, uscis sent 2 times on wrong address

october 2011 - applied again for replacement work authorization

october 2011 - fingerprints done

november 2011- called uscis for renewal prima facie

november 2011 - got a letter I-765 moved to another office

december 2011 - called uscis regarding my prima facie, sent it to wrong address

december 23rd 2011 - got first transfer notice I-485 to NBC

january 11th 2012 - rceived the approval I-360...soo happy

january 17th 2012 - got second transfer notice email I-485 to local office

february 21th 2012 -i called uscis regarding my pending I 765, i did also service request

february 27th 2012 - got an email that they ask me for RFE in my case for I-765...omg

MARCH 1TH - gor the RFE about my I765, they ask me for 2 photos even i did my AOS 2 months ago

march 29 2012 - i got my inerview notice for april 11 and biometrics on april 6 ...soo happy

APRIL 11 2012 --- I485 APPROVED....YEEEEEEEE

hello everyone , i am back after a short vacation in chicago

on thursday feb 29 i got my interview notice....yeeee....it will be on april 11th at 10 am and my biometrics on april 6

i still cannot believe it that my journey its almost over

Congrats and congrats again. You are that final stretch and can finally get closure :) I'm very happy for you.

Exactly ten days . Good luck believe it or not I have my ticket and I'm not going till summer so excited.

Hey Gizq , i applied back in January 2011 , it took 14months for me to get an approval ... i got one RFE for moral conduct and background check . How about you? Whats going on with your case? ..

I don't know!!! lol... must be stark in somewhere!!! I applied in 05/05/2011, i got 2 prima facies, employment authorization in 3 months, i also had my bio done in 06/2011. No RFE, nothing... Just waiting, it's so depression! I will call my lawyer tomorrow just to show her that i'm still alive, maybe she feel sorry and start to bother them. lol...

Hi gizq, please don't be depressed. This thing takes time......be patient and give it until summer before you reach out to USCIS to inquire more.....normally cases have taken almost 12 months before any decisions were made....

Hi gizq, please don't be depressed. This thing takes time......be patient and give it until summer before you reach out to USCIS to inquire more.....normally cases have taken almost 12 months before any decisions were made....

I agree with what Hopeful said. Its too soon, give them more time. You still have people that applied in 2010 and still waiting , so hold on, it does takes time, but in the end it will be worth the wait.

for me it tooks 16 months to get approval i filed in august 2010 and i got my approval in december 2011, you need to be patient and everything it will be allright

Okay i called my laywer this morning, pretending like "i don't know what's going on" lol... then she told me to came over tomorrow that she will file my ead renew... at least something!!! hope in God good news soon!!!
