Applied in September, still nothing so far; waiting on my EAD as well. The long wait is very frustrating though.

I applied in April,2011.Nothing yet.My case was sent back to VSC.So since i received a new EAC# & EAD & also did my biometrics, i felt a lot was done 4 me last month.I'll wait it out this month & contact VSC via mail to renew my Prima facie(since it will expire mid april) & in the process,i'll inquire about my case.I'll also ask my lawyer then to request a case expedite.

The wait in limbo is frustrating.

Hi, I really think that your lawyer have to request case expite, these what they say in they own website. See processing time. I applied in 05/05/11. Notjing until now. Just wating in God, cause I miss my family so much. Hope my approve is in the way.

Don't u think that your EAD is just taking for ever? Time to make some phone calls... For that type case they only takes 3 months. I hope u get it.

Hey Thanks, but my lawyer has messed up the EAD application twice and has reapplied end of this January. So EAD is well within the 3 months time-frame.

why they touched my file last month if they dont want to

make decision right away...huh??

ugh:( I dont like that and now I need to work to support myself

I run out of money and that pissed me off...

Response to RFE was received in September 2011.

It's past 6 months and no news, no update nothing.

My lawyer is on maternity leave, my prima facie is expired and I need if not I will loose my benefits. I called the office but it's been over two weeks and no lawyer has called me back.

I have no EAD, since I only filed I 360.

My patience has completely run out :help: :crying:

My case is taking WAY TOO LOOOOOONG

My question is: how do I go about contacting Vermont to find out about my case? I called last month, all I got was the recorded message.

Secondly, can I renew my prima facie on my own? I don't know if my lawyer's office have sent any request in, since no one has called me back.

Thirdly, I want to have my case expedited, how do I do this?

Help me! PLEASE!!! I am losing my mind. I want my life back! It's been on hold for way too long. My patience has simply run out.

This is torture. Don't these people understand what we are going through? After all we've been through with our ex?

I have a question you, I noticed in your timeline you recently applied for i485 and i765, did you originally file them with your i360 back in 2011? or were you able to amend it? or was your i360 approved?

I originally filed the i360 by itself (lack of money) but now I want to file the i485 but they told me that I have to wait for approval before I can file....thanks for your help

well, my case is a little bit complicated.

for your question, I did file only for I360vawa in 2011 with no I-485 because the court has jurisdiction over my case...

my I-360vawa is not yet approve (still pending). but I need to work, I ran out of money already thats

why last week I filed for EAD and the best way to do it, It file both(I485 and I765)in same time if that makes sense...

I filed them with fee waivers tho.

sorry to hear that..to add your timeline its 1-settings 2-profile 3-change signature...that is all.

for the rest thats what you need to do.

its simple Send a letter to renew prima facie and inquire about your vawa status.

you can do it by yourself you dont need a lawyer or assistance for that.
