For the CR-1 process, I was wondering will the consulate mail the packet 3 & 4 or email it nowadays? Thanks all

Why does my wife have to fill out the DS-230 for the consulate when it is already summitted to NVC?

The NVC will forward all the forms they have received to the consulate but it is always a good idea to have copies, or really duplicate originals of all the forms. The last thing you want is a blue slip because the consulate lost a form that you could have brought with you. :thumbs:
