OMG!! All this GOOD NEWS!!! woohoo.jpg AWESOME!!!! CONGRATS to all of the shiny big scary envelopes!!! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARI!!!!!!!!!!!

makes me so happy there's so much good news flying around these pages! our new improved lives with our other halves that we've all waited and gone through is just around the corner and guys and girls, i think we all deserve it!!

go december, go!

on another note - how long after medical did everyone receive their interview dates? baring in mind i sent packet 3 off at the end of may 2 weeks prior to attending mine. just wondering if i'm within my rights to make a phone call or not!

and mari - happy birthday lovely lady! xxx

We did our Medical really early, so our wait was on the packet 3 documents to be logged. It takes about 2 weeks for them to be logged. your medical only takes a few days. Call the DOS to get your interview date. You should probably know it by now if your medical was over a week ago.

Oh, and pay your MRV fee too :)

cheers dizzy tried the switchboard but it's all automated. unfortunately a sneaky car bill crept in this month so mrv has to wait til the 15th for pay day! maybe they're holding out for that. i figure i just have to wait until the 15th as the embassy number costs £2.50 per minute from my tmobile and i don't fancy paying that sucker twice! thanks for your help.

If you are confident that the results will be back in 3 weeks, you could go ahead and schedule the interview now, it will probably be at least 4 weeks until the interview date...maybe even longer. You can always re-schedule if you have to...I would go ahead and get an interview date.

Regards,

Brian

Thanks for the response :) One more thing. I did make an interview appointment already before but it was cancelled by ST. Lukes. Does it matter how many time I have to reschedule?

Thanks so much!

I don't think it matters how many times you reschedule. If you have paid the interview fee, you should be able to schedule until you can have the interview.

Go ahead and reschedule...if it is cancelled again by SL it shouldn't be an issue.

Brian

That's too funny - after NOA2 I felt lost too.....what to "stalk" next?? I too checked Igor's 50 million times a day. Then it was calling NVC - checking DHL - calling DoS....now we have an interview scheduled, he has his packet 4, and all I have left to stalk are this forum, the AoS forum, and the UK consulate reviews. All of which don't change much through the day :( :(

At least I know I'll be with my Baby soon, and a wife by mid-August WOOT!!!

Also, today is the first anniversary of Byron and I meeting, and falling in love. Most amazing day of my life. I got to London at 7am, spent the entire day walking around all of London and getting to know each other, ended up with ME having to make the first move (he was too shy and unsure how I felt) - and the most amazing end to to most amazing day of my life. He sent me flowers today at work to commemorate our "first anniversary". :D

Call DOS. Press "1" and then "0" to get to a live person and ask about your interview date.

Also when you need to call the Embassy, have the US Citizen call the Embassy on the U.S. line. That is a flat rate of $16.00 which is cheaper than what you would pay to call. That number is 1-866-382-3589.
