Who does the scheduling of appointment (K1 Visa)?

I have been waiting also for the packet 3 to arrive, its been like over a month already since the Embassy received the approved petition. I think we should go ahead now and schedule for an appointment.

The packet 3 contains the DS-230 right? I filled out a DS-230 Form online and printed it. Do I need to send to the embassy?

If I haven't receive the packet3, St. Luke doesn't ask for an appointment letter?

Who does the scheduling of appointment? petitioner ba or beneficiary? Thank you very much

I'll go ahead and try to help out until the smarter people answer.

First, there a thread at the top of the page called "Some Useful Links". Check some of the latest posts on there for the answer to most of your questions. marklovetina has also done an amazing job keeping up with the latest info. Check out her posts there for information about the interview link and also for the documents you'll need.

Also, check out this link to see the steps to follow. Good luck on everything and let us know if you have more questions.

If you already have your MNL case number, then you can pay your visa fee. Once you do that, you can go online and schedule your appointment. You can also do you medical exam at St. Lukes. You don't really need to wait on the packet to arrive. But that's up to you.

The only "packet 3" you will receive is a letter stating that you are eligible to schedule a visa interview. It will give you the numbers to call to book the appointment (632 982 5555). If you have your case number and passport, you or your petitioner can call to make the appointment. Also possible to book online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com.ph.

The letter will also direct you to the website http://Manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html. This will be your main checklist of all the requirements necessary to prepare for the interview, including information on the medical, and links to the various DS forms you will need to fill up.

None of these requirements should be sent to the USEM ahead of time. Instead you bring them all with you on your interview date, except for the results of your medical, which St. Luke's will send directly themselves.

In short you're good to go. No need to wait for the letter but that's up to you.

Good luck.
