Is there an option to pay more for quicker delivery, or is the only option to get it delivered before a certain time (so not necessarily any days earlier)?

You can express mail or overnight any mail to the US embassy, yes they get it quicker, do they work on it quicker maybe mayb not but I have to say I sent everything express mail and it was looked at pretty quickly and processed.

I'm sorry, I don't think I made myself clear, I meant once you are approved for the visa and have to pay the courier at the Embassy to deliver your passport & visa back to you. Thank you for your reply, though!

You only have the choice of times I'm afraid. Don't worry though, London has been processing K1's really quick after approval recently. Got mine in 4 days.

The courier generally delivers your passport/visa as soon as they receive it from the Embassy, so don't worry about that :-) Obviously weekends can get in the way, but otherwise you will get it as fast as is possible anyway :-)

Ah I see, so the wait is due to the embassy and not the courier. Well thank you for the information, typically my interview is on a Friday but here's hoping it arrives soon after!

The courier doesn't promise overnight service like FedEx might. If you live in London, it will be very quick. If you live on a remote island in nothern Scotland, it could take them longer to get up there.
