From other peoples experience USCIS call centers only tell you what you can see online and they wont do a thing about your case until its past the 5 month mark.

I pass the time getting ready for the next stage, nearly all the NVC paperwork is complete and printed, just need to sign and date. Vaccination record for me and my son is next, then I can work out if we need any.

Hey,

Can you tell me what is the next step we have to do when our I-130 gets approved. You said you did all your paperwork....where I can find information on what to do next for NVC and so on, so I can also get started.I read one of the guides but it was a bit vague... thanks a lot!!! =)

First of all, I would like to thank all of VJ members for providing very valuable information. I am also waiting for NOA2, would be a great help if someone can give us the pointers on next steps for NVC steps and documentation.

Thanks

Not sure how accurate. Mine has been slipping on a regular basis from end of September to mid October now, but I kind of expected that.

It turns to be 2 months since my hubby sent I130 to USCIS and it is 57 days since we got NOA1(CSC). I looked the timeline for CSC office, it takes 1 month longer processing time for NOA2 compares to VSC and TSC:( I wonder why the timeline of each office is different and how they make a process.

Anyway, I expect my NOA2 will come around end of Sep or middle of Oct.

I130 22 June 11

NOA1 29 June 11 (CSC)

150 days for NOA2

2011-06-22 : I-130 Sent

2012-01-04 : Pay I-864 Bill

2012-01-25 : Returned Packet3

2012-02-02 : Asked for REF

2012-02-06 : REF was sent by Fedex
