Good question. This is getting to be nerve wrecking. How is it that some people get approved at CSC in 80 some odd days and others of us are waiting this long? I thought that it went into some kind of a queue by NOA1 date. My NOA1 is June 20 and I have seen no activity at all since that first NOA1 sms and hard copy in the mail! This is really enough to drive someone nuts.

I feel for you, I know exactly how you feel, I have not seen my wife since the first week of April. Thank God I get to go there in November to see her for a couple of weeks but it sure would be nice to have NOA2 before then.

Same me I have no update since hubby received NOA1 on June 24. Poor me :bonk:

How does USCIS send out 2nd notices, NOA2, RFE, etc.? Do they send it sms, email, regular letter mail the same as for the NOA1, or does it come by registered or certified mail, or other ways? Does anyone know?

My NOA1 came by sms, and then a few days later I got a letter in regular mail. Strangely enough, I never received an email for that.

It depends on if you register for case updates on USCIS.GOV...In my case, i got an email first but did not get the text message and then the Paper mail like 3 days later

Hey,

If you've signed up for Text message (SMS) notifications, then you will receive that. For my NOA2, I got a text message saying there has been a change to your case or something like that. Right then I checked my email, and there was an email saying I-130 has been approved. 3-4 days later, I received the approval letter in the mail.

Hope that helps!

I guess I'm not the only one waiting for an approval. Our NOA1 date is 22 June 2011 and have not received any updates or approval. It appears CSC has stopped processing cases. All I can say is for everyone to hang in there and your love one will soon be with you. I too wait patiently with you and hope everyone updates their timeline and lets us know if they are receiving their approvals via snail mail, email or text message, eventhough we may all be requesting an electronic update.

The sad part of this whole wait process is UCIS has no consistancy with their processes and their insensitivity toward us filers.

Hang in there!

Hi guys, June files here, got approved in Sept. They have up to 5-6 months to service your case, and they'll say it over and over until you're blue in the face. I suggest you start getting in touch with your local congressperson and ask for their help. Hang in there guys!! Good Luck!!

Your approval is coming start seeing it in your mind's eye. Today I was feeling a little off waiting on my case number and I was surprised when the NVC operator told me my case number! YEAH! Thank you GOD ! GOD is GOOD ALL THE TIME! So your approval is coming
