Usually you can shut off the system by looking for the wireless connection icon and disabling it.

Start>Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Centre>Change Adaptor Settings and then right click on the network/wifi. I don't know if that's what your asking but I'm not that up on my Windows 7. It sounds like you want to shut off the switch itself. I don't recall is you can do that but I would start with looking for the network adaptor program. May want to try Function+F2, that might do the trick or you have to go into the BIOS at start up and see if you can disable.

Benny's Toshiba you have to hit the Fn key to turn off wireless. Mine is just a normal key but is F2 when you push the Fn key. So stupid

That SUX!!!!! I'm on the laptop, which bugs me since I'm a desktop kinda guy. This HP has has a touch sensitive panel at the top but since I don't have hands like Andre the Giant did, I'm pretty safe from any mishaps of that nature.

Haven't taken anything in over a week...waiting on the Dr. The name didn't click with me when the nurse called today with what they decided. When I picked it up I saw it was the Protonix again That's what I was on before the Nexium

Even when he gets to bed at a decent hour he still sleeps. At least two naps when I get home from work. Dunno how many while I'm at work. Can't do anything on the weekends...every time I turn around he's sleeping.
